Saving/ Loading of best map times now properly saves the time. I forgot to link the output of the load operation to the on-screen output.
Serenity has been expanded to it's final (Or close enough) version.
Removed the glass wall in Serenity. Nothing is holding you back now.
Updated the intro video to reflect the UE4 credits
Small gaps have been addressed in the level
A small bug that resulted in a memory leak has been patched.
Forgot to make the build go live. My bad. You can now download the latest version (Beta testers only)
Bugs fixed that were unknown:
Removed some testing levels from the build. Size should be a little bit smaller now.
Fixed the lightmap distancing, so shadows don't pop in as badly anymore while running the game in low-medium settings
Fixed 4K output of UI. UI now anchors correctly.
Fixed sound missing from levels (Probably. It's sporadic at worst)
Features added or in production:
Added inventory framework. Again.
Added a bowling pin hat for those of you that can find the hidden bowling level.
Added testing framework for online leaderboards. This may take some time to come fully into effect though.
Thanks for reading all. Leave your feedback! We love to hear from you.
Pre-release Patch Notes
Revision 57
Revision 0.1
Improved load handling. Loading is now threaded.
Added destructible objects into Serenity.
Fixed force application to destructible objects. They are now velocity dependent.
Added support for hats (Hats are currently disabled until the inventory framework is ready)
Improved optimization for dual core systems. Serenity and Midnight Ride should now behave better.
Improved glass reflections on Serenity, so the glass doesn't look as flat.
Saving/ Loading of best times is now implemented (Initial time may say 99:99:99)
Current issues:
Entering the level goal pauses the game, but doesn't show the scores or times. This will be addressed in the next patch.
Physics misbehaves if a walljump is performed while being slightly clipped into a wall. This is most noticable in Serenity while climbing the glass wall to reach the roof (There's bonus points up there!).
Some track pieces have a visible gap. This will be addressed in the next patch.
Thank you all for reading this. If you find anything out of the ordinary, feel free to tell us! We sometimes miss bugs, and fixing them is one of our top priorities.
