- blue and yellow enemy shots are not destructable anymore, the player must now evade them

Version update available!
A new and improved version of Pterodalien is now online!
This is a super update with the following new features:
UI total makeover – after a month of hard work the new UI gives the game a new look and feel.
Gameplay update: a diamond bonus will spawn after each combo – Balancing: The first level up is now easier to achieve. – Fire rate of the main gun is faster at the beginning.
Player damage model added – once the player gets damaged smoke effects are enabled and fire-effects
New HUD! – Enjoy the new cockpit!
New Boss animations!
New explosions!
New weapon – effects for the Level 1 Boss.

New version available with improved gameplay and enhanced optionmenus!
The new version of Pterdodalien (07012018) is now online - it contains several improvements and new features:
- Enhanced optionmenus (new Feature: customize your controls)
- Performance optimizations (loading time reduced)
- Gameplay improved (waves improved in the first level, diamonds will be spawned after killing an alien boss, levels ends after collecting the last gem)
- UI optimizations (cards of unit Spino and Ptero are improved, loading bar color adjusted, combo HUD improved, XP HUD improved, larger font used to improve readability in several menus)
- Lighting improved on unit Raptor, R6 and X5
- Texture update on Battleship, unit R6 and X5
- Improved explosionsound for alien bosses

New Version in Progress!
A new version of Pterodalien is being processed and will be released soon. It will contain several improvements on the UI as well as new Options. There will be new Gameplay improvements as well preformance Optimizations. Some Units got an Texture and lighting update and look much better now. Finally several minor bugs needed a fix.

The new Version is Live now! (22122017ea)
This update was mainly shaped by the Player bug. The Player disapeared sometines or was not spawned. Bugs are really hard to fix if they can't be reproduced and aditionally appear seldom. Then the only choice seems to be to setup up the logic from scratch. Finally the bug was fixed because of a refactoring of the logic.
Aditional improvements:
- Feature added: Sell a Collection of Gems and get one Attribute Point to buy an upgrade.
- Menu Backgrounds overworked.
- Glitch-Fix: It was possible to show the pause menu during the main menues.
- Main Menu - Playership burn effect, turned off because of Player feedback.
- Narrator turned off because of player feedback.
- Wing Tilt reduced by 2 Points - When the player ship was navigated left and right, the ship tilted the wings too much.
- Speed Malus deleted from gameplay and Tooltips - The player ship became slower the more load and upgrades it carried.
- New Option implemented - this options shows the collider of the player ship so it is more easy to navigate the ship through bullet hell.
- Playership size reduced by 10% beause of player feedback, this will make the bullet hell more fair.
- Fixed: Player sometimes disabpeared
- Player Collider reduced, this will make bullet hell mode more fair.
- Enemy Bullet Type removed (small blue) - it did not look good and was too smal. - Now small red bullets are spawned instead.
- Menue change: Bullet Hell Option moved to the options menu.
- Bullet Hell Mode reballanced: Level 4 and 5 Bosses are more fair ballanced now.

The new Version is available now!
A new version is processed at the moment and bringing several fixes and improvements:
fix: Player-Disappear-Bug: In some situations it happend that the player disappeared and the game was not over. This is fixed now.
fix: A material was missing and was therefore shown as pink square.
Colliders were checked, some of the colliders where bigger than the models and therefore reduced. This should lead to a better shmup-gameplay-feeling.
More bullets were implemented from start, because Mission 1 was too easy.
The Playership movement was adjusted for the next version (Z-Min is now plus 2 Units). So as a result there is more space to evade bullets.
D-Pad support implemented, as well as another default shoot key. Square and Y.
