The PGC 2021 Pick'em challenge will start on November 12th with final entries closing on Dec 18th at 1800 (KST).

The first challenge is to predict the top four teams of the week!
You can vote up to 8 teams and with correct predictions you will be able to collect sweet Esports Points.
Each week you can win 187,500EP by predicting the top 4 teams of that week!
Event 2: Weekly Kill Point MVP
Next challenge; guess the very team which you think will earn the most kills on the Weekly Finals.
You can vote for up to 8 teams per week. Placing your vote at the very last moment will significantly bring up your chances to win!

Starting with Season 14, Erangel, Miramar, and Sanhok will be permanent fixtures to the 5-map Normal Mode map rotation. The remaining two map slots will be filled by a small and large map, with the specific maps changing each season.
We know decisions like this always come with questions, so we’ve prepared an FAQ that includes details on changes to help the matchmaking system better facilitate regional needs for future seasons.

I don't see Codename: Kiki on the rotation plan! Codename: Kiki's release has unfortunately been delayed to mid-2022 as our development plans have recently shifted towards another big project that is coming very soon (no, it's not another game).
This major change of plans is also why we weren't able to deliver the second Dev Plan announcement. As for Kiki's release timing and the upcoming project, we'll be sharing more news in the coming months.
Why is Taego being removed from Featured Map and added to the rotation from Season 14? While Taego has been a popular selection as the Featured Map for some regions, we understand that for others, the matchmaking experience hasn’t been as positive.
Currently, our matchmaking system doesn’t facilitate unique Featured Map settings per region, but we’re actively developing this feature and plan to release it alongside our next map. This will allow us to implement more region-specific matchmaking solutions.
Why are Miramar and Erangel in Ranked Mode permanently? Erangel and Miramar are the two maps most synonymous with PUBG Esports and Ranked, known and loved by both players and viewers alike; we intend for them to be mainstays.
Why are you making us play the smaller maps like Sanhok, Karakin, and Paramo in Ranked? Ranked is intended to be the competitive version of Normal Mode, with small maps included. While we understand this is a point of contention within the community, we’re still actively monitoring player sentiment and can still make additional adjustments to certain gameplay settings used, such as max player numbers. Please keep the feedback coming.
Why isn't Haven a part of Ranked? Haven is our smallest map, coming in at 1x1 km. Due to its size, unique gameplay mechanics, and feedback after implementing Squads, we found Haven wasn’t the right fit for Ranked. With that said, we’re still exploring how we can best utilize Haven and its unique features in the future.
How will this map rotation plan work if a new map gets released? We’ll share details on our next map and how it fits into the updated matchmaking system closer to its release.

32 teams from four different regions that have gone through a year-long of fierce competition have finally made their way to the final battlegrounds to battle out the global number one team.

PGC 2021 Tournament Structure
The PUBG Global Championship (PGC 2021) will begin its journey with a Rank decision match on Nov 19th and ending with a Grand Final ending on Dec 19th. Just like PGI.S earlier this year, PGC 2021 will be a LAN/Online hybrid tournament. The 32 qualified teams from around the globe will be invited to Paradise City in Incheon, Korea to compete for a prize pool of over 2 Million USD. Teams will also benefit from the sales of PGC store items, with 30% of the profit being added into the event prize pool.
Now, let's get into the details of the tournament structure.
Tournament Structure
Rank Decision
PGC 2021 starts with Rank Decision matches on Nov 19th as teams fight for entry positions 1st through 32nd for the upcoming Weekly Survival.
Prior to the Rank Decision matches, teams will be divided into four groups. Group selection will take place once teams invited to Korea have completed their quarantine. The results will be announced via the PUBG Esports website approximately a week before the Rank Decision.
After the group selection, teams will go through a full league to compete with other groups for 3 days, 6 matches per day. Based on the outcomes of the Rank Decision, teams will be lined up from 1st to 32nd to prepare for the Weekly Survival series.
Weekly Series: Weekly Survival & Weekly Final & BOTTOM 16
Weekly Survival Now things get serious.
Weekly Survival matches are 16 matches played over 3 days. The objective here will be to battle against 16 teams and become the last team standing. Each match, the team which wins the Chicken Dinner will advance through to the Weekly Finals. The remaining 15 teams will be joined by the next team from the BOTTOM 16 list and another match begins until all 16 slots are all filled in the Weekly Finals.
*As an exception, Weekly Survival matches and the Grand Survival will feature WWCD format and not use SUPER Point Rule.
Weekly Final
The 16 winners of the Weekly Survival matches will compete in a 10 match tournament over the weekend.
Here, the tournament will follow the traditional PUBG Esports tournament structure and SUPER Point Rule. Teams will be competing to earn points which will be crucial for advancing onto the Grand Finals.
BOTTOM 16
The remaining 16 teams which failed to advance onto the Weekly Finals will compete in the BOTTOM 16 matches which take place on the upcoming Monday, after the Weekly Final.
The Grand Final & Grand Survival
Last but not least, the Grand Finals. Top 16 battle-hardened veterans will be pushed to their limits in the final battle for the PGC throne.

The Grand Survival
A day before the Grand Finals, Grand Survival will be held with the remaining 19 teams, excluding the teams already qualified for the Grand Finals, to select the winners of the remaining seats.
*As an exception, Weekly Survival matches and the Grand Survival will feature WWCD format and not use SUPER Point Rule.
The Grand Final
The 16 teams successfully advanced to the Grand Finals will be challenged to compete in the final battle to claim the throne.
Prize Pool
The total prize pool of the PGC 2021 starts with 2 Million USD which will be distributed by the participating teams final results of the tournament. Similar to previous events, 30% of all PGC 2021 item sales contribute towards the total prize pool via crowdfunding.
Special Prizes
PGC 2021 Item sales profits All participating teams will benefit from 30% of the profits earned from the sale of PGC 2021 store items. Profits will be distributed to the teams based on their final tournament rank. Picking up some PGC 2021 exclusive gear will not only help support your favorite teams directly, but also will provide you with voting coupons for the upcoming Pick'em Challenge. Updates to the PGC 2021 Participating Teams and more
Hello, PUBG Esports fans.
The 2021 PUBG GLOBAL CHAMPIONSHIP draws near! Teams from around the world are already en route to Korea for the November 19th showdown, so it's time to disclose a bit more about the tournament and teams you can expect to see!
Tournament Format
PGC 2021 will be a LAN/Online hybrid tournament similar to how PGI.S was run.
Ideally, we'd love all teams to be together for this tournament, but unfortunately some visa issues have prevented that this year. So this year, all Chinese teams will play together in their own arena, while the rest of the teams play together in Korea.
Both PGC arenas in Korea and China will be equipped with identical gaming setups to guarantee that teams have an equal environment to compete. In addition, both arenas will be supervised by PUBG Esports referees to ensure a fair and transparent tournament.
All teams who qualified for PGC 2021 and are traveling to Korea and will be safely quarantined, following national quarantine guidelines. They will remain in the isolation facility for the next two weeks until the tournament begins.
