We put out some hotfixes for bugs created by the latest patch.
HOTFIXES
Fixed the amount of wood the blacksmith gives the player for the axe tutorial.
Fixed fish disappearing from tanks.
Horses should no longer teleport when the player sleeps
Fixed item duping with the storage containers
Fixed NPC birthdays not appearing in calendar
If you notice any critical or game-breaking bugs please report them in the Steam discussions and we'll try to take care of them ASAP.
Pumpkin Patch 0.3.3 + Fish Breeding Added
Hey guys, we have updated with another pumpkin patch. We did mostly bug fixes this patch, but we also added some more fun stuff. Keep in mind with every patch we may have accidentally broken something unintentionally. If you notice anything amiss let us know as soon as possible and we will patch with a hotfix as soon as possible.

Can now use hybrid crops as substitutions in recipes
Ability to craft using gemstones. (A few ores still not working though)
When crafting tools, any type of wood plank can be used, not just brown wood planks.
Bulletin board added to Spoonie Island
In multiplayer for both co-op and competitive. Players start with a wooden fishing rod.
Wallpaper that was bought before can now be ordered from Vera and Jacqueline.
Weather report for Wahoo Beach and Pumpkinvale.
FIXED
Fixed black screen of death when playing a multiplayer game for more than a year in-game.
Misc multiplayer fixes and optimizations
Fixed bug where shift click could cause items to be lost if the storage container is full
Fixed bug where player could stack multiple wallpaper in a single wallpaper slot when painting their house
FIxed Bug with moving a barn to a different town and animals trying to get to the old barn.
FIxed Multiplayer if the host walks far away then the animals on that farm stop doing things
Fixed UI being left behind when using smelter and other processors with gamepad
Fixed bug with experimenting when cooking
Fixed bug with horse teleporting away to sleep and leaving the player behind.
Ingredients for cooking can only be detected from a fridge when cooking (not from all storages).
And there are many other little things we added and fixed in the game that are not included in this list. Thank you very much for your support. In the next patch we will be working on animal breeding.
Pumpkin Patch 0.3.2
This pumpkin patch contains a lot of bug fixes and quality of gameplay additions. Once this patch is stable we will be moving on to adding new features.
NEW
Autorun has been finally added. Toggle on and off with z, or change the key in the ESC menu
Cookable tab added when cooking. Now if you have all the ingredients for a dish it will automatically appear in that tab.
The kitchen will now pull ingredients from both your inventory and a fridge if food is stored in there.
Tiles, walls, and curtains are craftable on a crafting bench (but not available to buy, they can only be learned via the TV). There is not an auto snap yet so placing the tiles and walls may be a pain until we implement that.
You can now hold down the action key to repeat an action automatically.
Players can now substitute milk in recipes with non-dairy milk, and beef and chicken with seitan.
New Jounce Corp. related cutscenes, along with Jounce Corp. NPCs
Added an option for swapping the default font with a dyslexia-friendly font
Added an option to increase or decrease the font size.
FIX
Fixed butterflies not appearing in museum
Fixed the inability to craft with wallpaper with the crafting bench.
Fixed chickens not moving when taken out in the rain.
Fixed movement of fish in the aquarium (The fish that are floating presents are missing models those will be replaced eventually)
Fixed some typos and underscores for certain items.
Pocketing an item now works while on a horse
Fixed models that pop in too late.
Fixed bug where characters would sometimes sit on the edge of the salon chair.
Fixed bug when bringing up UI during a cutscene.
Fixed clipping with a lot of hair types with the cowboy hat.
Fixed bad collision on Papaya trees.
There are also other miscellaneous bug fixes that we didn't add to the patch list as well. With pumpkin patches may come unexpected bugs. If you notice anything as a result of this patch, let us know so that we may fix it ASAP.
We released our latest pumpkin patch which adds another major feature promised for the game, bug catching! There should be over 100 bugs you can catch and add to the museum. The bug catching is new and may need to be tweaked as we're not sure how balanced the system is.

There was a bug where I was unable to place my furniture when I first logged in after the patch. It seemed to fix itself once I loaded back into the game. So if anything weird happens after we patch reloading your game can fix the issue.
PAX SOUTH
We are also going to be at PAX South in San Antonio, Texas. If you will be there by any chance, you can swing by our table, Booth #17052. We will be at PAX from Thursday 16th Jan - Sunday 19th, so we will not be able to do any bug fixes or be available until we get back on Monday.
The NPC hearts were broken in the journal where, if you had gotten heart points with an NPC after the latest patch it would duplicate their name or create a new blank NPC. If that has happened the latest patch should fix that bug, as well as remove the duplicate NPC with the least amount of hearts so you can keep your progress. We also fixed a bug where certain multiplayer quests would crash the server.
Because we are a small team of only two people, sometimes bugs can get overlooked. If you experience any issues caused by the latest patch or at all, please let us know in the steam discussions and we will try to fix it as soon as possible. Pumpkin Patch 0.3.0 + Important things to note with patch
The pumpkin patch is finally out. We're sorry again for the long delay. Here is a list of some of the changes.
NEW
Added new German translations
To stop Jounce Corp it requires 50% completion, and every 10% pushes it back by 1 month.
Two multiplayer modes available. "Farm Together" and "Farm as Rivals".

This is only a handful of things we've fixed. It doesn't include little things we fix here and there.
Things to note about the latest patch.
1. Any existing multiplayer games will be classified under 'Farm as Rivals' mode.
2. Quests for multiplayer was redone, so we're not sure what's going to happen with any quests players were about to complete in their existing multiplayer game.
3. Any quests in multiplayer where an NPC sends the player to pick up an item that spawns in the world is bugged (I would avoid that until we release a hotfix for it).
4. Your museum progress is going to go down, that's not a bug. It's because we added a bunch of new items for you to collect for the museum. Don't panic, the requirements to stop Jounce Corp is only 50% to accommodate the new items and bugs we're going to add later.
We will be releasing another patch soon with the fixes for some things we missed. As always if anything seems amiss, let us know on the steam discussions. We will do our best to take care of any bugs asap.

Patch Delay
We're a bit behind on the pumpkin patch because we ran into some more game-breaking and annoying bugs right before we were going to patch yesterday. Hopefully, the patch will be out in a few days once we sort them out, sorry again for the delay. A special thanks again for players who have reporting bugs. Thanks to you guys, our patch is full of improvements that we missed.
New Multiplayer Modes
Don't worry we should have fixed a bunch of multiplayer bugs, along with rolling out these new modes. These are the two multiplayer modes.
Farm Together: All the players share a farm, gold, and can complete each other's quests (except for delivery quests) This multiplayer mode encourages players to work together to build their farm and complete the museum as a team.
Farm As Rivals: In this mode, players get their own farms and do everything separately. There are points that players gain by doing various things, such as talking to NPCs and shipping items. Players compete for who can rake in the most points before a certain time to be deemed the top farmer. In a future update, we will add bonuses for players who are in 1st place. Until then it's just for bragging rights.
Vague Roadmap
Someone asked us about our roadmap, so here is a vague idea of what we're developing and in what order.
- Bug Catching (Jan) - Animal and Fish Breeding (Feb) - Pets (Feb -June??) - Diamond Falls Town (Mar- July) - Marriage and Kids (Mar- July) - Cutscenes & NPC Dialogue (Jan- July)
All of these features listed have already been started on. We already have models for the pets, children, buildings for Diamond Falls etc. It's a matter of just putting all the pieces together.
As promised, we will definitely finish all the features promised. However, due to our tight budget we may need to start cutting smaller features we planned and we may not be able to take up players on suggestions we like.

There were quite a bit of bug fixes despite the shortlist. The bug fixes were things like optimization and other minor fixes with typos, graphics, optimization etc.
Taking a Break for the Holidays
With the holidays coming up we'll be taking it easy for the rest of the month. However, we will quickly upload hotfixes to any major bugs that may have been caused by this update. Expect the next big update next month. Next year we hope to be wrapping up all the features for the game. Emergency Hotfix for Freezing + Sick Dev Delays with Further Fixes
We're really sorry if you have experienced any freezing while you were playing Pumpkin Days. Despite extensive testing on our end, something broke the cutscenes while we were packaging, and so the latest patch should prevent them from triggering in the game until we can find a fix. If the issue persists after getting the latest update please let us know.
One of our main developers is recovering from being sick, and so there may be some delays with further bug fixes that may have been caused by the new features. We'll get to fixing things as soon as we can. Thank you for your patience.
