Hey guys, so we did a quick hot fix patch for some things. The hotfix includes:
New journal museum tabs which lists everything that needs to be donated.
Horses can't go in the water anymore (or at least I hope so) eliminating any bugs related to that.
NPC pathfinding optimization
Fixed bug with upgrading a house twice in a row without unpacking storage boxes.
Optimization with particle effects
Made it so stacks in storage containers can be merged
It also includes some small miscelleanous bug fixes. The optimization changes we made should have reduced memory usage by around 40% and CPU processing by around 20%. So hopefully in this latest fix, your computer will run Pumpkin Days a bit better without struggling.
As well as other smaller fixes. Our programmer Jayden will be out for the weekend which means we will not be working on bugs until Tuesday, which means the next major won't be until 28th- 30th. Multiplayer has been a bit of a mess, we're going to be working on those bugs next, and then after the multiplayer bugs we'll be aiming to finish up controller support.
If you experience bugs in multiplayer! Please send us your generalsave.sav file. We are having trouble debugging multiplayer because unless we can recreate or see the bug occuring we won't know where to look to provide a fix. Go to our website and contact us to send your save file to us so we can investigate any issues.
We're sorry again for all the multiplayer bugs, we're going to polish that up some more this month. Thank you again for your support.

Pumpkin Patch 0.2.11
A new Pumpkin Patch has been released. Sadly we were not able to complete controller support at this time, because it's going to take more work than we anticipated. We did make good progress on controller support, but we would need another 2 weeks of development to make sure it's 100%. There are some nasty bugs that have piled up during the time we were working on it so we're going back to bug fixes for a bit.

Thank you again for your support.
Multiplayer Bugs
Hello everyone, so we've been getting reports of some pretty nasty bugs in multiplayer. We're not sure how common these can occur, but some of these bug reports included:
- Deleted server game on startup
- Sudden inability to interact with crops or anything on a farm
- A friend's character is unable to load in the map properly
If you play multiplayer, you are doing so at your own risk at this time. I would highly recommend staying with single-player or not invest too much time in multiplayer as progress may be lost. We will go back to bug fixes and have a new patch hopefully next week. We're really sorry for this inconvenience, especially if you are one of the players who lost progress or was unable to play with a friend. We will work on fixing these bugs as soon as possible. Thank you again for your support and patience during early access.
Lots of News: Bugs, Controller Support, Etc.
Controller Support In Progress
(Possibly for the next week)
So some good news! We can plug in a controller, run around in the game and use some of the UI. The bad news is, it is crazy buggy and renders some parts of the game unplayable even without the controller, yikes. This feature will require extensive testing, and during this time we cannot patch the game, but if you guys can hold out for a week we will have controller support!
Slow down on certain bug reports at this time
Now I don't want to discourage bug reports, but... we know the animals, trees, and multiplayer are buggy and getting the same reports over and over again is giving me a bit of anxiety knowing that I already wrote them down and we cannot fix them at this time. We're going to make changes to the animal AI so the pooping, building clipping, floating, etc. will be fixed. We're going to do some more tests with multiplayer so we don't get that weird T-pose glitch and other multiplayer bugs.
All other bug reports are fine, but for animals, trees, and multiplayer, if you see someone mentioning any bugs related to those, please help us out and just let them know, we know about the bugs, we're currently in the middle of a big feature implementation and we will fix them as soon as we're done in roughly 1 week.
If you have an emergency like your game is corrupted, or have a bug renders the game 100% unplayable, definitely always report and let us know and we would like to troubleshoot with you.
In the meanwhile
Now just because we can't make any fresh pumpkin patches doesn't mean that development has slowed down. While Jayden is handling the technical aspects of the game I'm going to use this opportunity to work on other things. I need to polish up models, fix typos, fix clipping, update some graphics, add new furniture, etc. So hopefully the next patch will be a big update.
In regards to bugs, I hope the community can help other players find workarounds for them, maybe avoid certain features of the game. The Generalsav.sav backups are your best friend etc.
Chat support added to the website
So I'm testing out this new chat support on our website where visitors can chat with me directly (when I'm online). Some players aren't on Discord and that's fine, so here is another outlet to chat with us. I hope no one abuses it, as it's intended to be used if someone has an emergency and needs us to help them out immediately. Any bug reports should just be reported on the forums, discord, or steam community.
Thank you guys so much for your support. Again, give us about 1 week to get everything sorted out.
Quick Fixes for 0.2.10
I added a couple of quick fixes in the latest patch.

Broken blacksmith tutorial should be fixed.l
Added coffee seeds to the shops during summer
Curry powder can now be crafted in the kitchen

Growth time of some flowers changed for balancing.
So we're going to be testing controller support soon. Once that is completed we will turn attention to addressing other bugs. Thank you for your patience.
Pumpkin Patch 0.2.10

Bugs and Glitches
Hi guys, we've been getting a lot of bug reports lately that have accumulated over the last few days. We're currently in the middle of implementing controller support and we hope to have that finished by next week. Until controller support is implemented we may be slow to fix many of the bugs being reported. I would like to apologize for this inconvenience if it disrupts your gameplay.
The worst of the bugs are with animals, trees and multiplayer so expect potentially ugly bugs when interacting with those features. Rest assured we have documented all the bug reports and we will try to fix them as soon as we can. We will let you know when the bugs are fixed via the patch notes both here on Steam and on the main menu of the game.
