Spam meter and other interface improvements: Patch 1.222
Hello Puppy Photographers,
This update includes several improvements to the UI to help make objective and warnings much more clear. Here are the latest patch notes for version 1.222:
UI
New "spam" meter shows how many photos can be posted to dognet before spamming
There are now sound effects on the UI!
Removed the confusing "complete" button on Journal screen
Dialogue text is now animated to help with pacing/reading
Better selection cursor art
Mouse wheel can now be used to scroll through objectives on the Journal
Spam emoji icon is now less angry
Purchased items are no longer shown in the shop
Other
Several inaccessible photo request missions have been fixed
Look input smoothing is much less aggressive
Mystery quest room in Mellowstone is no longer reset when leaving the level
Also, this addresses what we feel are the largest outstanding issues on desktop. (We know there are still some big problems on console, which we should be patching soon!) Unless we discover any large new issues, this may be the final update.

Hello Pupparazzos!

Changes
- Access to all levels/times of day are now available in the final tier of the shop. This will prevent players from getting stuck with no way to access certain areas
Improvements
- Bonks are a little easier to get - Made a few small fixes so photos should now register correctly more often - An icon has been added to the journal to let you know when you have a request that can be turned in
New Features/Content
- The boombox music has been replaced, it now matches the soundtrack (and it's a really great bop)

Changes
-Saving photos is now integrated with the Steam screenshot system! -Game is now playable on Mac M1 (various issues fixed including disappearing text and photos not appearing properly) -"Recycle photos" screen should now always work with gamepads -Several animation fixes (dogs rolling over, running away from scootvac)
Improvements
-Slight improvements to photo content detection -Options menu slightly adjusted to reduce accidental language changes -Particles no longer appear sideways in portrait photos
New Features/Content -Minor art fixes to Boardwalk & Mellowstone (Froggurt vendors now wear lil' frog hats) -A new mission is available on the post-credits level (it was supposed to be in at launch but it wasn't working)
