CHAPTER 2




We're working super hard on Chapter 2! It'll be over double the length of chapter one, with more interesting puzzles, scary moments and new monsters. There's so much new content it's hard not to spoil! Development is going fantastic and we should be done very soon.

MULTIPLAYER



THE CITY



The city is our new MP map, and it is massive. It's many, many times bigger than the school. There's new monsters and areas to explore, which we aren't gonna spoil just yet :).

But trust us, it's good.

THE SCHOOL



REWORKS


Pretty much everything in the MP is getting a re-work, from the AI to the character models. Every single aspect is majorly improved and almost completely overhauled. Anything that didn't feel fun has been completely re-made to suit the game better. We're so excited for you to try it out!

THE PUPPET



The puppet is waiting for you.

The puppet has been made entirely from scratch again, whos back again out for blood. AI, Sounds, Animations, Models, he's all new.

GRAPHICS



Almost every single area has been re-done, with added volumetric fog, lighting and a bunch more detail to the environments.

MOVEMENT



Movement is completely overhauled from the ground up. We're super proud with how it turned out, and it makes encounters with the puppet so much more intense! The city has more movements mechanics on top of that, with abilities like sliding and vaulting.

NEW CHARACTERS



We've upgraded the character models to be way better! They've got better shaders and materials than whatever we had before. These are custom models, so we hope you like them!

State of the Game - January 2022

Hello everyone! Hope your all had a great Christmas and New Year! Here's the state of the game right now:


CHAPTER 2


Development of Chapter 2 began a couple weeks ago, and it's going great! It will launch alongside the Multiplayer map soon! It's be more than double as long, packed with way more scary moments and a lot more creepy atmosphere, I think you all will really love it! I'll be doubling down on story, scares and atmosphere.

THE NEW MP MAP



The new MP Map began development a couple weeks ago too, and it's turning into something that makes the old map look tiny in comparison. The new map is OVER 30x BIGGER than the previous one, with multiple enemy types, behaviours and scares. It's basically a small sized open world map now. The new map is named "The City" and is an abandoned city. There are multiple enemy types and some fun twists and surprises throughout the map.



Every single aspect is improved, and it addresses all the core complaints of the last map. I really, really think you will all love it. The map is scheduled to release alongside Chapter 2, sometime soon. While you wait, here is the trailer:

REWORKS


Some areas in the game have been lacking, and bringing other parts down with it. In Update 2.00, I'll be addressing these things to help elevate the gameplay experience.

You might not have noticed it, but I secretly snuck in part one of the Christmas update. This fixes most bugs in the game, but part 2 is coming soon



Controller Support


The new update will bring controller support! You'll be able to play the entire game with the controller of your choosing! Controller rebinding will come in a later update alongside key rebinding.

MP Patch(PART ONE)

Hello everyone! These are the patch notes for the first MP Fix.

BUG FIXES:

-Fixed the last players name displaying as "PlayerName"
-Fixed infinte doll glitch
-Fixed Infinite Doll trap glitch


CHANGES:

-Gave voice chat a WAY longer range
-Centered tutorial hints
-Changed first enrage ambience
-Changed last ambience
-Added subtle rain sounds
-Lowered locked subtitle sound
-Added reviving other player(no ui yet)

Chapter 1 Patch

Hello everyone! This should be the last patch for chapter 1 of singleplayer. Hopefully all the bugs should be fixed.

-Got rid of a permanent black screen when entering the mine
-Fixed falling off memory lane
-Fixed not being able to see a jumpscare
-Fixed being teleported to a later stage in the game
-Fixed not being able to go through the door on the white room
-Fixed the basement door being open when not supposed to.
-Fixed the TV Room door being open when not supposed to.
-Barrier in the mine
-TV Hitbox increased
-Fixed the door border when the radio is on

-Fixed subtitles not clearing in the sewer

Singleplayer Hotfix

Hello everyone! This update should fix every single singleplayer problem so far. Please contact me or let me know in the discord if you find any other bugs. We will continue to update singleplayer though.

MP Hotfix

Hello! I've heard all of your complaints about the MP and it's bugs. I've fixed them all now, and I hope you can enjoy it!

FIXES:

-Fixed Chinese Translations
-Fixed Japanese Translations
-Fixed Romanian Translations
-Fixed Polish Translations
-Fixed doll not getting destroyed
-Fixed multiple AI bugs
-Various other fixes

CHANGES:
-Opened the gate on spawn
-Tutorial popups to better explain the game
-Door key names are shown when the door is clicked on when locked

This should fix a LOT more issues and remove more bugs.

Release Date, New Trailer, Website and Localization

RELEASE DATE



Hello everyone!

After months of work, we have FINALLY decided on a release date. October 31st. The game will release in an early access state, that will contain the full first chapter and a online co-op mode.



The journey is not over. After the game releases, we still plan on adding new content in the future, this can include the other two chapters, along with some new multiplayer mechanics.

TRAILER





Alongside our release date announcement, we've released a full trailer, showing in-depth teasers of how the game will play out. The trailer is available in 4K and showcases many cinematic shots of our carefully designed levels, mixed with some gameplay in between.
