- fixed that last patch removed the entire maps folder, oops
yes
- fixed automatic subscribed workshop map download - fixed publishing with screenshots - now showing all found maps in the play menu
A Whole two years have passed
I've checked on Qybe again as a few people I recently met were very excited about it, playing it for quite a while.
I was shocked when I had to notice that workshop uploads missed the screenshot of the map, Subscribed items never showed up in the map list, and the compete option is grayed out yet again.
Most of these issues probably have their origins somewhere in my interaction with the Steam API.
Btw - to all the people who released maps (that were not just one block and/or of phallic shape): Thank you! Most of them I wasn't even able to finish due to the sheer difficulty, but to see people put time into this to create their own stuff really moves me.
Have a great day, and stay tuned.
Qybe is now FREE!
My first release on Steam sold fairly well for my expectations, and I decided to make it free to play. I never intended to make a lot of money with it, but the price tag of 3.99$ was okay, I think.
For everyone who bought the game before, I'll think of a goodie only the buyers receive. But I am not yet sure what, ideas are welcome.
Happy falling off the map & tilting!
Game works smoothly again
Fixed a major bug yesterday that didnt let you play levels with out restarting every single level at least once - also added a discount of 69% because why not.
10 new Maps & Map Creation Contest!
Hey guys!
This patch, I decided to add 10 more maps to the official map pool,
along with a challenge:
Everyone who's into designing maps is now free to send me their maps & ideas to qrakhen@gmail.com - including a replay of how you finished the map.
I'll review every single map, and add the best ones directly into the game!
Have fun & Cube safe!
Whoo!
After not even 20 hours of being released,
I managed to fix most bugs that came to surface right after the release.
Leader Board names should not be [unknown] anymore, if the user is not within your friend list.
Leader Boards now automatically refresh when you achieve any high score.
Map Author names will now be shown correctly.
Achievements are now all unlockable!
I did all of that during me having some slight fever, so please forgive any minor mistakes that may have been left in the game.
Much love!
Finally!
I can gladly announce that after countless months of development,
my first finished game has been released to steam!
I have no more words to say, nothing more has to be written;
check it out, I'll happily accept any kinds of feedback on any channels at all times.
Loads of love going out to every person who helped me with developing this baby,
including all people who made maps, music, sound effects, did play testing, etc.
A more sufficient credit note will follow ingame,
after all people reached in their final maps.
Important notice:
Some achievements are still kinda bugged, but this will be fixed within the next few days - forgive me my foolness, dearest friends!
