Race 2nd Edition (Patch 10/15/18)
The base set has balance tweaks to a few cards.
- Biohazard Mining Guild - cost/vp reduced: 3/2 -> 2/0
- Black Market Trading World - cost/vp reduced: 3/2 -> 2/1
- Imperium Armaments World - cost reduced 4 -> 3
- Merchant Guild - added VP bonus of 1vp/good in empire
- Outlaw World - added +1 Military power
Added small 'moon icons' to worlds card to help with color-blindness.
Fixed bug with the interaction of Galactic Scavengers and Pay Good to Reduce Cost powers.
Games started before the patch will continue to use the 1st edition cards. All new games post-patch will use the 2nd edition.
Patch 1/10/18 (1436)
- Recompute stats option
- Improved 6 cost dev calculations with oort world
- Many fixes to the OK button being incorrectly available (which could lead to corrupt games)
- Log 'page 0' shows the game creation parameters
- Arrow keys scroll through zoomed cards (thanks Tridenz!)
- Other minor fixes and improvements
Brink of War Expansion
As conflicts spread, galactic prestige becomes all-important, both to extract concessions and to fend off attackers. Meanwhile, the Alien departure point is located and the Uplift Overseers arise. Can you build the most prosperous and powerful space empire in a galaxy on the brink of total war?
This third expansion includes four new starting worlds, thirty six new developments to build and worlds to settle, five new goals, and prestige. Prestige adds a new way to earn victory and gain the advantage against opponents. A powerful new action, Search, lets players find particular types of cards to compliment their galactic strategies.
