Race to Mars

New build on Tuesday.

The newest build is coming out on Tuesday.

We’re preparing some new features for you, as well as improving old ones. First of all you will be able to produce components or buy them at the Market and store them at the Warehouse before using them to construct the Satellite.

At Research and Development, we added descriptions and a possibility to further develop reliability of currently researched technologies. You will also be able to enter the National Space and Air Office and sign contracts - this is also the place where you will be able to buy a slot on a rocket from now on.

This build will show more messages, further parts of the tutorial and many more small changes.

A new programmer has joined our team few days ago (there is 3 of them now) and he has already managed to make his contribution into the newest build.

What’s new

It’s extremely important for us to keep you updated and let you know what we’re currently working on.

We cooled down after the release and we’re keeping hard work on Race To Mars.

At the moment we are implementing new technology tree for Rocket Program (over 50 new technologies!), the Market (where you can buy components) and signing Contracts.

Our 2D graphic designer is working on new GUI, which looks very promising. We will start presenting it in a few weeks.

English version

Thank you for offering help with English translation and for pointing out the mistakes. We’re taking care of it right now and corrected version will appear in the next build.

Once again, we’re very sorry for this.

WOW!

The sale is going very well and we’re overwhelmed!

Thank you for such a warm reception. We’ve reached #18 place on bestsellers’ list on Steam!

Thanks to you we’ve gathered enough funds to continue our work on Race To Mars and bring it to the form and level we could only dream of.

Your trust makes us work on 150% and we promise to make our best!

THANK YOU!

How to launch your satellite into space

Some of you have been asking how to launch the satellite that you produce in game. Here are the steps:

1.  Research all necessary technologies (you can check which they are at Assembly Building).

2.  Build Sea Launch Facility.

3.  At Assembly Building choose the components, assign at least 10 engineers and click “Mount”.

4.  Click on Market – if SLF is built and you have enough money you will be able to buy a slot on a rocket.

5.  In the next 3-10 turns the rocket with your satellite will launch into space – enjoy :)

We’re sorry we haven’t made that steps clear enough in this build. We will work on that.

It has begun!

The day we all have been waiting for has finally come! Please, share your impressions with us as soon as you take a break from playing. Tell us how you like launching your satellite into space, which building looks the best and if you managed to develop all technologies. Remember, don’t spend all the money at once although we know it’s tempting ;)

We’re aware that a lot of things is not perfect, forgive us, but we tried to prepare as many features as possible to make the gameplay exciting even at this early version. We hope we’ve managed that :)

The future of RTM user interface.

We’ve mentioned before that the look of user interface in current version (and the one available from Friday) is temporary and far from final quality.

We are working on completely new and better solution. We will draw conclusions from current system to create GUI which could serve as good example for other economic games.

Feel free to give us any comments on that.

How far will your New Space company go.

Some of you have been asking us, what actions will be possible in the Early Access version we are releasing on Friday.

Here are some most exciting features:
You will be able to establish your new Space company, build all buildings, hire employees and organize press conferences. Satellite Program will be available and around 100 technologies will be opened for research. Then you can use those technologies to build components to later choose some of them while constructing your satellite. Building first satellite will be a huge step for your company. The market will also be available, so you can buy a place on a rocket, which will launch your satellite into the orbit!

You first object in space – isn’t that awesome?

Tell your family and friends :)

Hello space lovers!

In 7 days your dream will come true - you will be able to put your first satellite into orbit! Please, don’t keep to yourself. Tell all your friends about Race To Mars release.

We want to give this awesome possibility to as many people as possible. Now we are working hard on Steam Early Access version, but after this release it will get even tougher.

There’s a difficult way in front of us to the final version, so we need all support and feedback we can get.

Counting on you, space lovers!
