Rad Rodgers: World One

The new version of Rad Rodgers is now available on Steam!

Dear Rad Rodgers community,

we are happy to announce that the new version of Rad Rodgers is now available on Steam:

http://store.steampowered.com/app/805660/Rad_Rodgers/

As promised, all owners of the old version (Rad Rodgers: World One) will find the new Rad Rodgers version in their library - for free!

What is new on Rad Rodgers in comparison to World One?
  • Leaderboards: Gain Scores at the end of each level, and battle with friends to reach the top of the leaderboards.
  • Hats: Unlock more than 20 different hats throughout the game, and customize Rad Rodgers.
  • New Pogo Vertigo Bonus Levels: Grab a Pogo Stick, and see how far you can get in the new Pogo Vertigo vertical levels.
  • New Unlockables: Unlock behind the scenes artwork throughout the game.
  • New Pixelverse Puzzles: Pixelverses have been redesigned, and now include brand new types of Puzzles.
  • 5 New Levels! Fight through 3 new Pogostick Levels, and 2 massive new levels. The Rainforest Rampage, and Raging Ruins.
  • Minibosses! Introducing 2 minibosses throughout the game.
  • 4 New Enemies! The new Spiky Jellyfish, Powerful Laserheads, and 2 new Minibosses brings new and exciting challenges to the Rad Rodgers enemy roster.
  • Brand new weapon! The legendary "Excalibat" from Rise of the Triad, makes a return to Rad Rodgers. Become invincible and smack your way through hordes of enemies with the mighty Excalibat.

While a simple patch/update on the old version was not possible due to slightly higher system requirements (just imagine an owner is not able to play the game any more due to that change!), we hope that you appreciate that step of a free-of-costs additional version for all owners and that you can still access both the old and the new version.

Check it out and enjoy!

Beta Patch 0.2 is here! Overworld, Parental Control and a new Level!

Hey guys and gals!

The Beta for Rad Rodgers has been out in little over a week. It's amazing to experience the game in the hands of you guys. Thank you so much for all the feedback and bug reports we've gotten so far. We just released Beta 0.2, which includes a TON of Fixes, Tweaks and Additions.

This is a MASSIVE update to the Beta. Alongside tons of bugfixes, tweaks and additions, we've also added the Overworld and a new Level to the game.

The Overworld is Rad & Dusty's Hub, from which they access and unlock levels in World 1. In the Beta you can freely roam the overworld, but you can only play Level 1,2 and 4 at this moment. In order to unlock level 2, you have to finish level 1. In order to unlock level 4 you have to finish level 2. In our next update we'll add Level 3 to the game.

The overworld also gives you statistics on how well you did in each of the levels.
We suggest starting a New Game (Deleting your progress), to see how the overworld works with proper progression.

Another Major feature in this update is full parental conrol and censorship options.
The first time you launch the game you'll be presented with the following screen:

This will allow you to pick your default settings for. Picking Child Mode will turn the blood in the game, into purple goo, and bad words will be beeped out.

And Grownup Mode will of course have none of that.
At any time you can enable/disable blood and censored voice-overs in the new Parental Control options.

Last but not least, we added a brand new level: Romp in the Swamp! Below you can check out a video-update on the new level:

https://youtu.be/vgYvzfs7fmY

You can also glance over screenshots from Romp in the Swamp below!

We also added 2 new posts on the Steam Community.
First of all, make sure you check out the Basic Controls post, which covers Default Keyboard and Controller binds:
http://steamcommunity.com/app/353580/discussions/0/340412122421118613/
