We’re celebrating our participation in this year's Jingle Jam, a Charity event run by the fantastic team over at the Yogscast! The Jingle Jam aims to bring developers together to sell their games at a massively reduced rate with all the proceeds going directly to the charities being supported!
As a part of this celebration we’re going to be giving everyone who owns both Radical Rabbit Stew AND plays in the Core Keeper Open Alpha five Jingle Jam cookies, to be consumed at any time in the Core Keeper Open Alpha that’s happening, right now!
Core Keeper is Pugstorms latest game that mixes the best of mining, building, surviving and stunning top down pixel graphics. Join the closed alpha, available for a limited time only, by clicking the link below!
We know you’ll have a lot of fun with both of Pugstorms amazing games! For now, make sure you join our Discord server for more news, updates, announcements, and information on Core Keeper.

The day is finally here, and the hunger is soon to be purged! After more than 3 years of work, Radical Rabbit Stew is perfectly al dente and ready for consumption—a game that started as a small Swedish student project. Heck, we even started the company Pugstorm, and used up a ton of pizza (and salt) to bring this game to you all!
The initial plan for the game was to be an easy-to-congest 30 minutes puzzle experience on PC only, but over time it became so much more. Development started out with three people coming together, and we’ve grown to an incredible team of 8. And now here we are, releasing the game on most major platforms, with a single player campaign that has several worlds, a multiplayer versus mode, and a stage editor with which you can build your own levels and share them!
Our seasoned thanks to our incredible publisher Sold Out who helped shaping Radical Rabbit Stew and gave us the opportunity to cook up this delicious adventure as well as some tasty feedback.
Additionally, much appreciation to all the lunch breaks full of instant noodles and sandwiches.
We are very happy about what the game has become and we are very much looking forward to seeing all your reactions—and your own creations—so grab your spoons and go make some rabbit stew!
We couldn’t capture a fresh team photo due to covid19, so here’s an old photo of our team!
… and finally some closing words from our team members:
Fredrik the Boss:"Cooking a stew for three years—I wonder if it’s a world record?" Julian the Artist:"My condolences to all the pixels that didn’t make it into the game. You will be remembered." David the Programmer:"I hope you kill ALL the bosses! I spent so much time making them!" Max the Other Programmer:"Please don’t break anything." Alex the Designer:"I thought we were making a cookbook. Now it all makes sense." Jenny the Social Media Manager:"#drowninginhashtags" Andreas the new Story Guy:"After far too many people asked “Who wrote this?”, Fredrik panicked and hired me last-minute to take all of the blame." Sven the Animator:"Wait what, I didn't even make this game??"
Radical Rabbit Stew is OUT NOW! Check out the Launch Trailer Below:
Only a few more short hours until Radical Rabbit Stew is served up to your Steam accounts! We’re so excited to see you all digging into our game and are eagerly awaiting seeing your thoughts and opinions!
To celebrate the occasion, all of us here at Pugstorm wanted to open the floor to you, the community, to ask us some questions about our team, the game, development, or anything else you’re curious to know!
We’ll keep this post stuck to the top of the community page so you can ask us questions as they come to mind. That way you’ll be free to pop a question in here rather than having to wait for a one time only event.
We are really looking forward to seeing your questions come through, and hope you are looking forward to playing the game TOMORROW!
Make sure you wishlist so you’ll be notified as soon as the game is available!
