Greetings, Generals. We're proud to announce our newest and by far most ambitious game yet, Real-Time General. A spiritual successor to Radio General, we've upped the scale to include THE ENTIRE Normandy campaign, with thousands of units, hundreds of players and LOTS of planning!
Stay tuned for more news from the front... - Michael
Water Rats DLC Out NOW!
General, we have need of your skills once again. Take command of the First Canada Army, and capture the channel ports. Wade through the muddy swamps of Belgium and Holland, and take the fight into Germany.
Show the enemy the might of our Royal Airforces using aerial recon, tactical airstrikes and devastating bombings. Have engineers build bridges to cross canals and rivers in the Battle of the Scheldt. Lastly, bring food to over 4.5 million starving Dutch civilians.
Water Rats DLC Announced - Air Support, Building Bridges and More!
Greetings, Generals. Wow, has it really been two years? Well, we started working on this DLC a while ago, but got busy, and well... better late than never, right? Regardless, we're extremely proud to announce...
Highlights include a new Air Support unit (recon, airstrikes, bombing!), constructing bridges and 7 new campaign missions along the Channel coast and Low Countries. Not to mention new historical photos and video.
Get your cigars and brandy ready, and we'll see you on the battlefield in two weeks.
KAIJU WARS available NOW!
We've been busy working on another innovative strategy title for the last two years... KAIJU WARS! And it's available now! Steam page
Play out a kaiju movie as the (hopelessly) outclassed military in the stylish 2D turn-based strategy of Kaiju Wars. Construct buildings and defend your city with cannon-fodder tanks, jets, and more as the devastating kaiju grows in power with every attack.
Although just a little bit different than Radio General, you'll recognize some of our designs crossover - historical film footage, persistent units, a map editor, way too much content, etc. You never know when trying something new ends up being a pleasant surprise, so why not take a look?
Foolish Mortals, known for its hardcore realistic WW2 voice-commanded real-time strategy game Radio General has now released a demo for a colourful monster-based 2D turn-based tactics game! Yes, this is definitely rather... er... different from our earlier work, but we promise you it's still innovative, and it's still a strategy game!
If you're a fan of our previous work, consider checking out the free demo of KAIJU WARS. If you give it a try, you may be pleasantly surprised!
We're happy to announce Radio General has been nominated as a finalist for the 2021 Games For Change awards! https://festival.gamesforchange.org/festival/festival-awards

MORE INFO: Games for Change awards are designed to highlight games that achieve some form of social good, such as education, sparking important conversations, highlighting social issues or promoting empathy.
Radio General is first and foremost a strategy game, but it also places a heavy emphasis on education. We use hundreds of real historical photos and videos to teach players about real battles, and are one of the only games to cover Canadian history during the war. Currently Radio General is being used in local highschools to teach Canadian history during WW2, and we give out free keys for educational purposes.
Lastly, Radio General is also one of the rare games to promote empathy and discuss the actual human cost of war. Other RTS and wargames have you throw away hundreds if not thousands of digital lives during a mission, and the only acknowledgement given to this is your score screen at the end. In Radio General, you personally review casualty reports, and have to write letters home - how do you tell a mother their son won't be coming home?
In short, Radio General was nominated due to its educational focus and its unique depiction of the human cost of war.
