Ragnarock: Vikings on Tour update available soon
Since you guys made Ragnarock such a big success, we decided to explore ways for non-VR players to experience the fun as well. We are very happy to announce that an update will be available soon to adapt the game for PC. No need for a VR setup anymore, it’s time you get your friends and family to start playing !
There will be two ways of playing the PC version of Ragnarock. With a controller or a keyboard, you can either try to control the two hammers or use a “one key one drum” setting which would be a little more accessible for those who are not used to rhythm games. Choose wisely as you will still have to train and improve your skills to be able to play all 3 different difficulty levels of each song and get those gold medals.
Go further and win medals
For those new PC players, the 40 free songs from volume 1 and 2 will be included in this new version. And yes, the multiplayer PvP mode will be cross-platform (PC vs VR) ! (For those who may have concerns about the leaderboards, both games will have separate ones.)
Use your boost to move faster
Oh, one last thing !
Since it's a free update for those who already have the PCVR version, anyone who is already playing Ragnarock on SteamVR will automatically get the PC version. On the contrary, future Ragnarock players will get to play on PC or PCVR.

Ahoy Vikings,
Poulpy the octopus strikes again with Ragnarock-a-Doodle-Doo which celebrates Easter in his own very personal way. This very spring update is bringing two new free songs and spoiler alert, a very silly looking hammer is available too !

This time, Poulpy thought it would be fun to play a joke on you guys and unleash innocent chicks in the lobby, or are they really ? Anyway, there is a little surprise for you there : a new hammer is available to unlock. Maybe you can try to tickle one of the chickens to see what happens ?

Ahoy everyone and welcome to the Ragnarock-A-Doodle-Doo update!
This Easter, we bring you chickens, chicks and of course Rock!
We don't have any chocolate, but 2 new free songs and a fun new feature.

- You can now use a brand new feature to send/receive info from/to the game such as the hits, score, the song playing, changing the hammers, displaying a text…With this you can build tools to display information while you stream for example.

Update 1.7 - Patch 1
- Added missing description translations for the Nuclear Blast Hammer
- Fixed: after unlocking a new hammer, it is now properly auto-selected
- Fixed: after purchasing a song or a pack, the lock icon on the category wheel properly disappears
- Fixed: time-based song preview for custom songs is now working again (Steam only)

- More equalized sound volume on secondary in-game sounds (drums, vikings, medals...). Remember those can always be turned down in the audio settings.

A new longship, a new hammer!
Take a seat on your ship and sail through the tumultuous waters of the Norse mythological universe. But don't worry, the majestic moose will always be watching over you with this new longship skin.

We thought of our streamer and youtuber friends, this time the longship has a low stern that should allow you to see your whole body in Mixed Reality. We also noticed that some players prefer to drum with "light" hammers. So this new wooden hammer may look sturdy, but we focused on making it easy to use and giving you good visibility during the wild solos of these Nuclear Blast Records bands. A true partnership with a major music label is coming: the Nuclear Blast RAID!
This year with Ragnarock, we brought you in the mythical waters of the Hellfest Festival. You may have discovered new bands, experienced new music styles and maybe even met an angry octopus! That's why you joined the mighty power metal crew Hootforce with Gloryhammer in the first Ragnarock RAID. And now, it’s time to join us on our last adventure of the year: the Nuclear Blast RAID!
This new and unique partnership with a metal music label is for us the opportunity to bring you several artists with very different musical styles, in the same DLC, a bit like what we did with the Hellfest RAID!
A collaboration with one of the main metal music labels has always been obvious for us. Nuclear Blast Records and Ragnarock both share similar values regarding the quality of their partnerships and their musical know-how, which are very important to us!
So, enjoy this new epic journey and drum on Nuclear Blast Records label bands such as Beast In Black, Equilibrium, Battle Beast and others.
Oh, and by the way, a good Viking never leaves without his hammers and his boat keys! So take a sneak peek at the new Nuclear Blast longship skin we designed for you in this RAID.
The hammers and the longship of this raid are inspired by the "Nuclear Blast Records" label logo.
After analyzing and splitting it up, we turned this logo into a twisted driftwood.

From this, the idea of the moose was born. Come on, can you think of more Nordic animal than the moose? We incorporated the green color as a reminder of the label's old logo. This color links the two objects, creating a perfect hammer set to intimidate opponents and set new high scores.
This is Pauline, modeling the next longship you can ride in the Nuclear Blast RAID.
