An update has been published containing a lot of bug fixes. There should now be fewer UI and connection errors.

1.1.5.5 Update



Hey guys!

We're proud to announce the release of the 1.1.5.5 update which, among several bug and crash fixes, also adds VR support to the game! Please find the full patch notes below.

Online



  • Several generic latency and online stability improvements have been made.
  • Several more sanity checks have been implemented to reduce the chance of abilities getting "stuck" in cases of high latency.
  • Menus will no longer persist if a match is restarted while the menu is open.
  • Players should now be able to consistently select heroes when joining a game via invites.
  • The fight against Wurstbrat should no longer cause some players to experience high latency, or at the very least the severity should be lower.


General



  • Fixed several spelling mistakes throughout the gaem.
  • Music should no longer restart occasionally during boss fights.
  • Wurstbrat's music will now correctly be affected by the user's audio settings.
  • Various crash fixes.


VR



  • Initial VR support launched!
  • IMPORTANT: Due to the simple nature of button count the controls of the game don't map 1/1 to either the Oculus nor the Vive motion controllers. Due to this the game requires a traditional controller to play in VR.
  • IMPORTANT: Playing in VR will not allow additional local players to join the game. Online and solo play are supported.

1.1.5.1 Quick Fix



Hey guys!

We're pushing a small quick-fix today to address some issues we had reported after the patch yesterday. Unfortunately it seems that the spell-repetition bug still rears its ugly head so this quick fix is mainly about nipping that in the bud. You can look at the other fixes below.

Online



  • It is no longer possible to sometimes use the solo-mode hero switching in online play (and breaking the whole game in the process)
  • Non-locally controlled Fighter players will now correctly display the overhead combo bar,


General



  • Some windows that had focus issues in the hero picker will now properly retain controller / keyboard focus.
  • Fixed a few typos in the training map.

1.1.5.0 Update



Hey guys!

We've been gathering a lot of feedback over the past few weeks as well as working tirelessly to fix any and all issues and bugs that we find. Today we're presenting you with a patch aimed primarily at improving the online experience significantly. Thank you for your continued patience and support!

Online



  • Characters should no longer spam the same attack over and over again in high-latency situations.
  • Open menus will no longer persist if the game is finished (either via entering a completion portal or game over) while menus are open.
  • Players invited to games will now be able to properly pick heroes.


Bug Fixes



  • Eldingar's towers will no longer continue zapping people after Eldingar has been defeated.


General



  • Overhead widgets (Mage's and Fighter's combo point counters, player indicators) have been altered and should now be easier to discern and read.

Bye bye Early Access!



It's been a long and perilous journey, but we're finally there - Ragtag Adventurers has left early access and the full game is now available for purchase! The full version includes a lot of new changes, the most prominent ones being the online mode, two new bosses and another five spells for each character!

Other than that, this new update includes a lot of bug fixes, changes to the default Mage loadout and much more.

There are many more things to talk about (like the free upcoming updates and new bosses) but for now we wish you all happy adventuring and do not hesitate to leave your feedback on the discussion board!

1.0.1.0 Update Live



Hello to all and happy holidays! Just in time for 2018 we're pushing a large update for the game that addresses a lot bugs and issues. Thank you all for your continued support and feedback, we're excited to head into 2018 and share with you all the awesome stuff we have prepared!


  • The target dummy has been increased
  • If all players are permanently dead bots will no longer continue playing, instead the game over screen will be shown
  • Lesnyak's tornado effect has been altered
  • Sound volumes have been adjusted across the board
  • Osselor's camera shakes should now be less nauseating
  • Many particle effects have been added, replaced and / or improved


New Features



  • The default control can now be seen from the pause menu mid-game
  • There's a new option in the options menu to toggle the boss health bar text between None (No text), Percentage (Show the current health percentage of the boss), Precise (Show the exact amount of health the boss has) and Both (Show both the amount and percentage)
  • Player characters now have a life counter above their portraits indicating how many times the player can be resurrected before perma-death sets it


Balance Changes


<*>The mana restore ultimate will now follow the Bunny Mage and has a larger radius
<*>The Bunny Mage turret no longer has any range restrictions
<*>Osselor will no longer turn to his target while firing his flame breath


Bug Fixes


<*>The hero picker will no longer stay on the screen if you die while picking a hero in single hero mode
<*>Permanently dead characters will now properly resurrect if the boss dies
<*>Permanently dead CPU characters will no longer incorrectly show up as players on the score screen
<*>The Bunny Mage turret will no longer block Medics projectiles
<*>Lesnyak can no longer be damaged (or walked into) while he's flying to the middle to spawn roots
<*>You can no longer get stuck in Uth'wara after his transition phase
<*>The collision on Osselor's lava cracks is now more precise
<*>Shiro will no longer walk while doing his tail swipe attack
<*>Time will now be properly tracked on the Uth'wara fight
<*>Navigating the menus and changing options with the analog stick should now be more stable
<*>The fight will now properly start with the picked hero in single hero mode instead of always starting with Tank
<*>Lesnyak's insta-kill attack can no longer be dodged as easily
<*>Fighter is now no longer incorrectly named Assassin in the hero picker

1.0.0.2 Update Live



Hey guys,

We've pushed a small update that addresses a few bugs and balancing issues that we gathered from our pre-release test players (Thanks everyone!). Please find the changes below.

Bug Fixes




  • The Tank should now properly use his shield when controlled by the AI
  • The Tank will no longer get confused and stare off into space during the Osselor fight while being controlled by the AI
  • The AI fighters will now do a better job at avoiding Osselor's Earth Sundering attack


Balance Changes



  • AI party members take less damage from Leshnyak's Petal Swarm.

Thank you guys for your patience, the game is now officially approved and released ahead of our (delayed) estimate date!
