Changelog
NEW MULTIPLAYER MAPS Get ready, because in this update we have added three new multiplayer scenarios, each of which has certain unique features. Face of against your opponent in the True Competition, race to complete a weapons delivery contract in Weapon Baron and pray that the dice roll in your favor in Blame Your Destiny!
TRUE COMPETITION The map in this scenario is mirrored, as well as your office location and cities with resources. Contracts don’t spawn either, to make sure no random events influence the balance of your match. The session can be launched with extra competitive goals to complete, however. The host can set those when setting up a match.
WEAPON BARON Who can produce and transport weapons the fastest?! Face of against your opponent in a race to deliver weapons to a nearby town. The map you\ll be playing on will provide different options to complete your goal, depending on your starting location.
BLAME YOUR DESTINY This is our first randomized multiplayer map! Your office location as well as other cities and resources are completely random each time the multiplayer session is created. Who knows what your next match will be like!
Each of the new scenarios contains sets of editable launch conditions that can be adjusted by the game host. You can edit the difficulty by changing the overdraft-ruleset, add extra objectives and much more!
Railroad Corporation Challenge Update: The Wonderful Forest
Hello everybody,
Since the Early Access launch, we have changed and simplified a lot in Campaign mode. Nevertheless, we always wished for hardcore elements to be present in the game, so that players could use their experience on more challenging tasks. Thankfully, we have received many requests from this community that supported us in taking this direction.
Today, we are sharing with you the first challenge - The Wonderful Forest.
The Wonderful Forest is a separate scenario with more complex tasks. Although it may be too small for a full-fledged campaign, The Wonderful Forest aims to challenge those of you who feel confident enough to test their experience and skills in the management of Railroad Corporation.
The new challenge is available in the "Free Game" mode, in the "Challenges" tab.
Good luck!

Are you of the competitive type, really good at the game or dying to try out multiplayer? Participate in the Railroad Corporation League!
Information
The Railroad Corporation League (Ladder) is a form of competition where each player is assigned a position (rank). A lower number means a higher rank on the ladder (better position).
The goal of the competition is to move up the Ladder, ultimately to the #1 position (highest rank). Players move up the Ladder (i.e. improve their rank) by winning Ladder games. Players move down the Ladder (i.e. lose their rank) when they lose Ladder games, and when other players move up the Ladder ahead of them.
Rules
After each Ladder game has ended, both players are assigned new positions on the Ladder, depending on their current positions, and the result of the game:
1. If the winning player has a lower rank than the losing player, they are moved up half the distance between their position and the losing player's position. The losing player is moved one position down. (For example, if the winning player was 10th and the losing player was 4th on the ladder, their new positions will be 7th ((10+4)/2) and 5th (4+1) after the game)
2. If the winning player is directly below the losing player, their positions are swapped. (i.e. the winning player is moved one position up, and the losing player — one position down)
3. If the winning player has the higher position, they are moved one position up and the losing player is moved one position down.
4. Challenges can only be issued by below player (10 row above is the max. limit)

First of all, we’ve just released a patch that fixes some outstanding issues:
Patch notes: July 4th
• Money balance issue showing it as zero from time to time.
• An error that could cause loading to freeze at 63%, 75% or 100%.
• The memory leak issue of Mission 6.
• Updated localisation.
Secondly, we want to thank you for your support and feedback that’s been sent in so far. We really appreciate your ideas and suggestions, so keep them coming! Many of you have been asking about an Early Access Roadmap in the past few weeks, and today we are happy to finally be able to share our plans with you!
July Update - Sandbox
New sandbox maps (small/medium sized) with extra settings • Random city location with random production buildings (The game generates seeds so you can share the same locations among friends!)
• Either start with just the Best Friend locomotive or start with everything researched.
• Enable/disable: Contracts generation, buy/construct production buildings, lawn spawning on/off, staff etc.
Free Play campaign mission • Enable mission objectives, only disable time limits or disabled objectives completely.
• Research and Portfolio progress made in the actual campaign is ignored in Free Play.
A small update to multiplayer • A separate scenario of the current multiplayer map will be added with an extended goal, larger initial capital and starting with two researched trains. Even though these changes are related to the same map. We think this will make multiplayer sessions more dynamic and will provide you with a new experience while new maps for multiplayer are coming.
August Update - Challenges
Adds the challenges category: unique separate one-map scenarios for true hardcore players • The point of challenges is to make it not easy but possible to pass. With deadlines, money limits etc. This is for players who would like to try a more challenging mode rather than the one in campaign or if Chapter One is completed.
September Update - Multiplayer
• Adds three multiplayer maps with different size and preset conditions. One of the maps will be a mirrored one to try out a similar conditions scenario for each team. Another map will be suitable for random settings, making it similar to the sandbox settings (including initial conditions and cities/production shuffling)
• Additional multiplayer options similar to the sandbox settings, including cities and production shuffling.
Fall Update - Chapter Two
• Chapter Two added: six new campaign missions.
• AI competitor
• Stock market feature
• Steam Workshop integration
Please note that more information will be given about each individual update, the closer we are to its completion.
We invite the community to take part in our Discord Q&A to discuss the roadmap!
We are here to answer your questions. The Q&A is starting now (5PM CET) and running for 2 hours (until 7PM CET). Click here to gain access to our server and join the conversation!

Update 01: Balance & Time Limits
Hi everyone!
One of the most common concerns we received since the release from players is a time limit set in campaign missions. In this quick patch, No.01, we are tweaking these limits so players are not pushed too hard to finish the mission fast, but for those who manage to complete tasks fast enough; there's an experience bonus you can earn.
To see these changes, let the game automatically update through Steam and start a new campaign from the main menu. If you're in the middle of a mission now, the next mission will also reflect these changes.
Of course, there are other critical issues we see and we are working on them already, too. Still, we decided to release this fix to not delay its delivery of what we think will improve gameplay experience right away.
We appreciate all feedback, especially during this Early Access period, and we will take all of your comments and suggestions in consideration to further improve the game.
We have exciting plans for Railroad Corporation in Early Access and we'll have a roadmap to share, soon!
Thank you for your support!
Love,
The Corbie Games team
