A little extra development info: I had also hoped to create a new updated trailer for the expansion, but I have not had the time to create it, and I wanted to get the update out sooner than later so I can start receiving some feedback. I have a pretty heavy course load this semester so it is not always easy to find time for development, but I will do my best to keep up with bug reports, feature suggestions, and new planned content!

Upcoming: Orc Invasion!
Greetings! The next major update is close to completion, and it will feature the new faction: orcs! This faction focuses heavily on attack stats and introduces new potion synergy possibilties, health gain cards, specialized weapon synergies, and more. Other factions will gain a few new cards each as well as some much needed reworks, and there will be new treasures to incorporate into novel play-styles! Everything should be on pace to release in ~10 days, but if you're eager to try out the new faction early, come stop by the discord! Quick update on the next patch!
Hello everyone! I hope you're all enjoying a good holiday season. Just wanted to drop a quick update here for the upcoming expansion because I haven't posted anything in a while. It's been a busy December in terms of school work, but now that the holiday break is starting soon, I'll have more opportunity to focus on game development. The upcoming update is a bit behind schedule, so I'm anticipating a launch sometime in February. This will be the first major content update for the game which will introduce a new faction! I mentioned a potential smaller update to the faction resource system, but apart from some tweeks, I've decided to focus on that after the major update is out. There haven't been any small updates for the last couple months partly because of a lack of new users/bug reports, but also because I did not plan the builds very well and didn't come up with an architecture that easily allows for small updates while I work on the new content (I'll think about this more for the next major update). -Reworked Brunhilda's ability to allow up to 3 cards to be locked in place before reshuffling (thanks to DG-aguyyouknow for the suggestion) -Added some starting gold and a reduced reroll price to allow for rerolling in the first shop
V.532 (Addressing health not resetting bug)
Numerous people are reporting that the enemy health is not resetting between fights. I couldn't recreate the issue, but I've changed something where I think the problem may have occurred. If you still experience this bug, please leave a comment and answer: what difficulty were you playing on? Did the damage range and type seem to update correctly from the last fight? Also, if you're willing, it would be most helpful to post the content of your player logs to pastebin and share the link here. You can do this by typing %appdata% into the windows search bar in the bottom left and then move to following directory (starting from appdata) ....AppData/LocalLow/Rally/Rally . From here, you can send your player.log files and player-prev.log. You may want to delete the first ~10 lines for privacy

Army Update is here!
Hello everyone, let's get right into it with the new features in this patch!
Major features -New army attack types -New sabotage cards (and instant sabotages) -New unlockable player general -Difficulty settings (and a special card unlock for winning on hard mode!)
Balance updates -Cursed ground now only has a 75% chance to spawn a ghost -Gooey puddle gives 4 slimes instead of 3 -Priest has 2,0,1 base stats -Orb of power gives +3 permanent attack -Gravestone has 2 defense -Knight gives +2 attack and defense -Trebuchet can target all unit rarities -Endless armies now scale with a new attack type
Other updates and fixes -Modified tutorialization -Tweaked army UI shake -Dwarf fortify ability correctly stops sabotage glow effect -Added in some defensive code to attempt to stop a game breaking bug
Closing remarks I think the new army changes add a little more variety to combat without overcomplicating the gameplay. I hope that the mechanics can remain simple while allowing for complexity without demanding it. There's always more to be done, and in particular, I plan to update the army art a bit soon. With the army update out of the way, I will focus more on developing the next faction, and the only moderate update I anticipate between now and then will be an improvement on the current faction resource system--there will of course be numerous small updates along the way. I do plan for new existing faction cards and generals, but I haven't decided if I'll release any before the new faction. Thank you as always for the feedback and for playing the game! Until next time
