February: Long month.
Why has Realm Quest been delayed?
There have been a lot of unforeseen technical dilemmas when setting up our websites accounts and game servers for Steam. Most of them have been addressed and shouldn't be a problem on this or any other project we work on again. Our previous landlord lost our rent and sued us for eviction. We paid off the lawsuit, and then broke our lease with her and moved. Somehow both of our power supply units on our xenon server blew out within the same week. On top of these incidents, my Discord account was accidentally suspended through their automated management system.
Is Realm Quest dead?
The project is far from dead. This is a passion project for me, I've been playing online role-playing games since my child hood and wish to deliver the same overwhelming feelings I felt. Developing ergonomic experiences that work well with the HTC Vive & Oculus Rift seem to take a little longer to debug and test.
Who is working with you?
Most of the people that have helped on this project this past year are either uninterested/unable to continue developing projects either with us or entirely. Currently Gibb and I are the only two people working on the project. That's no where near enough people on the team to get the quality updates out as frequently as we would like. We have interned several potential employees with no luck, we're hoping with some of our funds from launch we will be able to hire a few programmers so I'm not the only one. I've tried to teach those that were interested in programming how to, but no one was really able to.
When is the release?
With everything between our location, equipment, systems, and off site servers being taken care for now, we should have servers up for those that donated by the 14th, possibly earlier. We're aiming to have the game on Steam up for purchase by early April.
Do I get anything for donating?
Anyone that donated before the game is officially for sale on Steam will receive the game and a few rewards. You will be given a title to display to everyone you are a true supporter, a mount for transportation, and more.

To those of you that read all the way through, thank you. This has been a long, and stressful month for us and we're sincerely apologetic about the entire situation. We're looking forward to seeing all of you in Realm Quest.

Delays:
We're getting held up by steam administrative processes. We apologize for the wait, and we are continuing to work on the game so that players get good value for their investments. We hope that you bear with us in these early stages as we get everything situated.
