Version 1.9.9 is now live!!! Unfortunately I'm way behind schedule where I would like to be at in this point in time. I'm going to be able to put most of my time in my game when I move back home at the end of July. I'm hoping to have the next realm and releasing 2.0 by Christmas. I want to thank everyone for your continued support in this project.

Listed below are all the changes in this update:

Version 1.9.9

I was hoping to have version 2.0 finished and realeased by June 15. Due to covid and many family deaths over this past year I've been very busy with memorial services and being a 24/7 caregiver to my sister until her workers can come back to the house and care for her. So I have been using what little time I have to make subtle changes to all classes and what spells are available at certain levels. I'm making it to where the job points are going to play a bigger role when playing the beginning realms. I also felt that the damage physics was off balance and noticed that there were no differences between physical attacks and magical attacks. So I've recalculated all the abilities and also made luck become a factor as to how much damage one does to the enemy and luck is used in the calculations on how well you defend against that attack. I've also nerfed all the buffs so the game doesn't feel too easy half way through the realms. I'm still in the final testing phase and so far I'm happy with the results.

I'm hoping to get back on track in August and I'll be putting all the work I can into finishing the third realm and hoping to add the fourth realm by June 15, 2022. I'm going to be doing double the work these next 12 months to get me back to my original schedule.

Version 1.9.7

I manged to complete all maps and patched all the switches to make all of Realm 2 available. My goal is to have Realm 3 available around this time next year. Hope you all enjoy the changes I've made in this update. To celebrate my 2nd year of my game, I'm having a 60% off sale for the week of June 15th, 2020.

Version 1.9.7

Completed all dungeon maps in Realm 2
Fixed most way point glitches and mini map current location

Update Towards 1.9.7 #2

I've been trying to fix the minor waypoint glitches with no luck. For now I'm going to let it go and start working on the next realm. I'm hoping to get Realm 2 patched back in within the next couple of months. This more than likely will be the last patch for version 1.

Update Towards 1.9.7

I've been in California visiting friends and family and the mandatory power outages over the last couple of months has caused a setback towards my last update before moving on to version 2 of my game. I feel that I have the game more balanced and I have most of the glitches fixed for the mini map. I've tried every variation I can think of to make the town waypoint not to show up in the middle of the game. I'm 2/3 of the way running my current test to see if I notice any other glitches. I'll give an update as soon as I have it done and can move on to reconstructing the second realm.

Version 1.9.6

For a while now I've felt that leveling in the game is happening too quickly so thanks to Yanfly I have a way to control the parameters I need to change by class and how much exp is rewarded based on the monster's level. This will be the last patch til I get Realm 2 fixed and open. Listed below is the patch updates.

Version 1.9.6

  • Changed calculations on how much exp is needed to level (each class requires a different amount based on the base multiplier)
  • Changed calculations on base parameters by level
  • Changed calculations on how much exp is given by monster's base
  • level
Added exit command to title screen

Version 1.9.5

Today marks my 1 year anniversary since I posted my game in the store. There has been a lot of content updated for me to utilize this past year to help improve my game and design most of it the way I originally designed it thanks to the new plugins that were developed over the past few months. There was a lot of re-coding I had to do and half the game has been redesigned for these updates.

There are a lot of changes I made into this new patch and they will be listed below. One of the biggest changes I made is removing all weapons and armor from the drop item cache in my monster list. I noticed that the plugin that allows the diversity of these items was causing the save and load game to take up to 3 to 5 minutes half way through the 1st realm. So by removing them from the drop list I've shortened the save and load time to an average of 30 seconds to a minute. Through a lot of extensive testing this really doesn't change the dynamics of the gameplay all that much and it also saves time going through all the items you've collected.

I just want to thank everyone for the feedback and support and look forward to hearing more suggestions and thoughts on what you're hoping to see in the future and how to better improve the game.

Upcomming Update

It's been a while since my last update and a lot of changes are coming. I was hoping to have everything updated by the 15th but it's taking longer than expected integrating all the changes I'm putting into the system and getting as many glitches out of the mini maps that I can before I release this update. With that being said, I'm only going to be able to finish patching the first realm by the 15th to celebrate my 1st year since my early release. So the 2nd realm will be temporarily unavailable til I can finish patching it. I'm hoping to have that completed by Christmas. Full patch notes on all the changes I'm putting into the game will be posted on the 15th when the next patch drops.
