To achieve this ultimate goal, you will have to carefully consider a myriad of decisions, starting with the choice of a country you wish to lead. Taking control of any contemporary nation in order to fulfil your ambitions: from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe and everything in between.
You will also need to select your optimal form of government, build your cabinet of ministers, improve your character’s skills - all while leading your country’s efforts in economic development, research, diplomacy, espionage or war. Realpolitiks 3: Earth and Beyond is available now in Early Access - with three game modes currently available - Realism, Overdrive and Sandbox. VED is a story-driven, hand-drawn RPG with a unique turn-based combat system and roguelite elements. Set in two different worlds, VED tells the story of Cyrus, a young hero who sets out on a quest to become a master of sword and magic, and save everything he knows from destruction.
The demo will let you sneak a peek at a very early part of the game's story - just enough to whet your appetite, but with no significant spoilers!

Franchise News: How Realpolitiks 3 Expands the Horizons of War & Demo Incoming

We have excellent news for you today, as the new instalment of our franchise, Realpolitiks 3: Earth and Beyond will have a free demo available as part of the upcoming Steam Next Fest, from October 14!
Therefore you will soon get to experience all the improvements it brings to the established Realpolitiks series systems. Some of the biggest changes are coming to the warfare mechanics, and we have prepared a detailed devlog discussing the changes.
Suffice to say, not only will you be able to fight on land or in the air, but your military and reconnaissance activities in orbit and even on the surface of other planets will be just as important on your path to total Solar System domination!
You can read all about the new warfare systems here, but we have also recently shared a deep dive into the similarly expanded political layer - including the influence of political parties, the RPG-like systems for individual politicians, the role of your country's Constitution, the new "Way of Life" mechanic and much more. Realpolitiks II Update Live and More News about the Franchise!

We have amazing news for you today: Thanks to our work on the new sequel, Realpolitiks 3: Earth and Beyond, we have been able to incorporate some of the newly developed tools and technologies to Realpolitiks II, fixing a major issue that we have not been able to address before - the dreaded time-freeze bug. This will prevent any new occurrences of the bug, but if your game has already been affected by it, you may unfortunately have to load an earlier save or start a new game, as not every save file will be fixed. Besides squashing this major bug, we looked into minor rebalancing of AI and other small fixes as well.
We will be looking for even more opportunities to use the tools and engine upgrades newly developed for Realpolitiks 3: Earth and Beyond to improve the original games as well. We hope to prove to you that the development of the new game is good news for the franchise overall; while we are pushing the series forward with the new installment, we do not want to just forget about its roots.

However, we also want to make full use of the new engine and bring forth features and gameplay options that simply are not possible to implement into the originals. We would like to take a moment to introduce some of the many possibilities you can look forward to when the game launches later this year. UN eagerly adopts resolutions on an unrecognized player's country
Changed the liberation mechanic - now it can recreate already nonexisting historic countries - If the country ceased to exist and the provinces in its historic territory were liberated, the devastated country would return to the world map
