Edit 2: The bug that was introduced by the bug-fix has been fixed, so the update is finally live. Rift users can now reset their view as they wish.

Edit: The update was loaded but something's amiss and needs fixing, spoke too soon. Working on it at the moment and hopefully will have it fixed soon. We've rolled back the build to the last working version so all should work as before - just don't try resetting your view.
A new update has been released which fixes a problem when resetting the player's orientation and position if using Oculus Rift VR Goggles.
Additionally, if using Rift Goggles the default setting for the remote views in game are to set them to OFF. The Oculus Rift has some performance issues with the remote views which the Vive does not appear to have. If you are having frame rate problems please leave this feature OFF. It can be switched on or off at any time from the in-game menu.
Rebound PONG Update Mk 2
The bug that appeared after the recent PONG game update has been fixed and a new version has been uploaded. Now you can enjoy both the PONG game and ReboundVR game without any glitches.
Sincere apologies for the delay, thank you for your patience. We hope you enjoy the new update! ːsteamhappyː

App version rollback
Sincere apologies folks, we are having to rollback ReboundVR to the previous version because of a bug which means the Pong game can be played but not the main ReboundVR game. The rollback means ReboundVR will be playable as before the last update but the Pong game will be unavailable until after the bug fix. This bug will be fixed as soon as the game designer returns from a break which will be in a few weeks - but it will be fixed, that’s a promise.
Apologies for the inconvenience and thanks for your patience.

Rebound VR Pong update!
Rebound VR now includes a Pong game!
This is an experimental release which pits the player against a simple AI Opponent (doesn't mean it's easy to beat on the higher difficulties though). A further release in the New Year will include more developed AI Opponents, more game modes and challenges and a multiplayer version so you can play against another human.
There are three game rooms. Minipong, Midipong and Maxipong with 4 difficulty levels from Easy to Extreme.
You'll need to make good use of the extending bats for this one and have quick reflexes!
Remote Views update
After some recent feedback we've added in an optional remote views screen to let the player see what is going on at the back of each level. This can be turned off if it proves too distracting for the player. The controls to show/hide the remote view appear at the beginning of each level and also when the pause menu is activated.
A small bug has been fixed which stopped the wonky ball being wonky when moving towards the player. Now a wonky ball is truly wonky all the time like it's supposed to be!
Achievements Update
The Achievements update is now live. There are sixteen in all, four for each difficulty mode.
Life Challenge One:
Levels 1 to 23 - Complete one level without losing a life.
Life Challenge Two:
Levels 24 to 42 - Complete one level without losing a life.
Time Challenge:
Levels 24 to 42 - Complete one level in under half the time.
Complete all 42 levels.
We will be mightily impressed if anyone manages to get them all!
Achievements
We're currently adding in some Achievements to Rebound VR. At the moment these are visible on the Rebound VR Steam Page but aren't live just yet as we're still testing this out. These should be available soon, we'll post an announcement when they are.
Gameplay and Graphics Update
After some very useful user feedback we have made a couple of changes to Rebound VR. User feedback is always welcome, we are delighted to hear from Rebound VR players. We will always do our best to resolve problems as quickly as we can and incorporate useful suggestions where we can.
<*>The bat and ball physics have been tweaked to improve aiming and also to give more control over the speed of the ball, so now you can give it a gentle tap or a major thwack if you want.
<*>The tractor beam charges up more rapidly and discharges a little more slowly so it can be used more of the time.
<*>The rotation of the bat controllers through 90 degrees has been changed to pressing both left and right side grips at the same time (HTC Vive) to stop unintentional rotation during gameplay.
<*>We've added in some great new space backgrounds and a couple of new funky ball noises.
Bat angle update
Player now has the ability to set the bat angles to whatever they wish. This is included in the bat selector panel which can be accessed any time by pausing the game (Vive left shoulder button, Rift Button Y for game menu).
