On the Steam Summer Sales 5th day, I have some news for you. Good and bad.
Let's start with the bad one.
Although I had sales during the Summer Sales, and I will have more, Alice Lorange Adventures Season 2 barely sold copies. Same thing with Season 1, the 3 Our Journeys, and other stories.
In fact, the best selling stories at the moment are Shantalia and Corali'hulu, the adult-only DLC, Elian Elisa ChatAid, and Iveri: The 1,000 Story. It makes no sense to me. Iveri is the worst story I've ever released on Steam. As for Shantalia and Corali'hulu, well it's XXX without pictures. Same for Elisa Elian ChatAid.
Seeing the reality of the market, the chances of me writing Alice Lorange Adventures Season 3 are almost nil. I say "almost" because I can always change my mind and write it during the year. No promises.
The good news. I'm working on my Ren'py stories again because the idea of doing bilingual (EN-FR at the same time) wasn't great and the results are pretty messy, especially on Ivanoile.
Ren'py is not an engine made for that. There is no system already implemented to automatically display text in different languages at the same time. Same thing for RPG Maker MV and Twine, but my stories on those game engines already have separate languages.
The idea came to me to have text in 2 languages at the same time while playing Go! Go! Nippon! ~My First Trip to Japan. The option of seeing English and Japanese at the same time is cool and I thought that doing the same with my stories would be a great idea.
But there are a ton of Japanese/English VN fans out there, while there are few people interested in French. 95% of my buyers are non-French, so EN-FR won't interest them.
So, I'm going to update my Ren'py stories, once English and French texts are split up again.

I cannot change the date on the store page, but Season 2 will come out tomorrow.
Since the sales for Alice Lorange Adventures Season 1 are pretty bad - 14 copies sold since release, a new low for me - Season 2’s sales will decide if I do sequels or not.
I would love to do more Seasons - since I like to write a lot! - so, if you liked Season 1 and if you want to see Alice Lorange in more adventures, please buy the text-based game. Thank you. ːsteamhappyː
Alice Lorange Adventures Season 2 writing completed (French)! My very last Steam release?
In French. Only the English translation remains.
Also, there is a lot of chance “Alice Lorange Adventures Season 2” be my very last Steam release.
While I have plenty of ideas for more Seasons, and I like writing them, Season 1’s sales are really low. It’s almost 72 hours since release and fewer than 10 copies sold. That’s really bad.
It’s also a lot of works to create more stories, and if almost nothing sells, there is no point for me to continue.
In August 2020, it would be my 3rd year as a Steam Dev, since I started in 2017. I had seen the market get more and more flooded with shovelwares. There are great games, too, but shovelwares (manly low effort sexy puzzle games) are rampant. I had seen my visibility go down and down every year. I had seen my sales (already low in 2017) got worse with every new year. I was making more money is 2017-18 then in 2019-20! (The "final sale" during my temporary retirement last year doesn’t count.)
So, yeah, if nothing improved for Season 1 + if Season 2 sales are also low, no more stories will be coming on Steam from me. Unless I want to write 1 new season per year ? An idea that’s in my mind for quite a while. And even then, if they don't sell...
