Hello guys, i just want to say sorry for the radio silent. I'm waiting for the right moment to show something big that i've been working for a while. I'm not ready to show it yet, that's why i've been silent. But i think i should at least talk about the enhanced edition.
REDO! the enhanced edition is not coming anymore. Why? I worked for more than one year redoing all the original game, in the end, I felt that I had changed lots of things and that players would not like this new version because of it. on top of that, I would need to work even more fixing bugs, and listening to feedback... for a game that was already finished and ppl liked it(Original REDO!)... in the end, I just didn't have the motivation to keep working on the same game again plus I was deeply depressed because of things in my personal life.
So, all the work on the enhanced edition is going to waste? Hell no, in fact it is being used to build something even bigger.
Again, sorry for everything. I'm trying to do my best, but i'm just one person, but i promise i'll deliver something to compensate the enhanced edition.
Before the end of the year i'll come here to share this new big information. For now, just be a bit more patience, i'll do my best.
Just a small tease:
Quick question about the Riot Shield
Do you use the riot shield? is it useful for you? how you would improve it?
REDO!
Hello my friends, happy new year!
2020 was a complicated year, lots of problens for everybody. I had planned to release the enhanced version of REDO! Q3 last year, but life got in the way and... here we are. it's not quite finished yet, but it's close. in the begining of last year, i had the chance to start working on a port to consoles, so i took that chance to improve the game. I think of each single one of you while doing this, and i hope i can deliver something that will bring emotions to your heart.
next time we meet, i'll have a release date. until then, keep safe. enjoy 2021.
for you, from the cutest developer on this earth.
Question about input buffering
hey guys, what's up? i have a question for you! i need to know what you think about the input buffering in REDO! input buffering is when you save a input to be used after another action take place. ex: you roll and in the middle of the roll you press the attack button. When you finish rolling, the input(attack) will happen.
do you think:
a) It's ok the way it is right now
b) less input buffering
c) more input buffering
d)no input buffering at all(you can only do another action, after the actual action is over)

REDO! - Enhanced Edition
REDO! The enhanced edition is coming as a FREE update. There will be a lot of good changes, here some of them:
I think I fixed all the bugs, but I wouldn't be surprised if I forgot something. But don't worry, I'll continue to give support to the game.
there are some things that I would like to implement, like more save slots and gamepad remap, but unfortunately, some of those systems are very old when I began to make the code of the game, and changing it would break a lot of things. I know, it's my fault, but I learned a lot and will not do the same mistake again in future games.
I choose to not change some of the unpopular mechanics because I didn't want to deviate too much from my original intentions.
I'm kinda ok the how the game is, it could be better in some aspects of course, but I think it's ok for a first game done by one person.
I already started a new project, so keep an eye open for news.
