Community Management is Here, Updates to Come!
Hi guys,
I’m Josh Turner aka Deaths Crowbar and I am the new Community Manager at Broken Window Studios. I was hired to help care for and inform our community.
I know there hasn’t been a lot of management lately. We would like to apologize for this. We know many of you purchased the game and we did not support it properly. Unfortunately, as a small team on a budget, it has been hard for us to take care of everything and thus have had to focus on certain areas of development, thankfully though now that I have been hired I can help with the community. I hope I can help with this and alleviate some of your concerns.
A little bit about me, I am 22 and have been working in the Gaming Industry for 5 years. I started as a journalist and moved up to PR and community management at the site I wrote for. I have been working and speaking at conventions since 2016. I am currently finishing up my senior year at Southern Arkansas University getting my Mass Comm degree.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask me anything.
I know that some of you who purchased the game had questions or concerns and we value the input we receive from the community. We want to apologize for the lack of updates and say that we are working to correct that.
I will be active on the forums so feel free to post there!
A quick content update!! (No, the project isn't dead)
Hi Guys!
We know it's been a while since we posted an update for this game, but we've been hard at work developing various systems to enhance the experience..
The characters now animate and have voices!
We've finally implemented this feature, after a lot of working and reworking, trying to work out a good balance.
Here's a video of the content we've been working on SPOILERS: Don't watch if you haven't played and don't want any of the content spoilt!

When can you play Reflections with this new content?
We're working out a bug with the main menu right now, but once that has been resolved, we'll be updating the game on Steam!
Thanks to everyone who's supported us on early access, it means so much! We appreciate your patience, and we can't wait to FINALLY get this game launched fully!

Reverted Unstable version 0.5.9.1 - Fix coming soon
Hey everyone, we ran into a serious issue with the build and a number of users reported being unable to play. We have since reverted the build to it's previous state and are investigating the issue. We hope to have the issue resolved very soon and will take steps to make sure that this type of error will not occur again.
THE GAME IS FULLY PLAYABLE AS OF RIGHT NOW. We sincerely appreciate your patience.
Currently the team is very small and restricted on availability so we aren't as quick to respond in some cases as we like. Tristan, or lead developer, was in Shanghai presenting Reflections as part of the the Global VR Challenge and while we are happy to say that we actually won the competition, the reduction in available manpower made us slow to respond and for that we apologize. We don't like seeing this type of thing pop up and it was due to making too many changes before a major business trip. We will endeavor to do better in the future.
