Update 1.4.10 Local Mode now available!
Features:

- A new way to play. Now users can play local matches. Upon signing into your account, you will see an option for “Local Mode”. With Local matches the board will automatically switch from White to Black allowing the users to play on the same computer. All Local matches are saved on the computer in which the game is played. Each account can save up to 3 matches at a time.


- Miscellaneous bug fixes

Update Version 1.3.2
This new version provides more stability to Regimental Chess while also improving some UI.

  • More stable connections with other players in match
  • improved chat window functionality with players who disconnect
  • added ability to view players who are online while in lobby

Update Version 1.2.9 – Time is a ticking!
With this new update, we have made changes to the way the game is played. Players will now be limited to a total of 3 matches at any given time. Timers have now been implemented during each players turn. If the time expires and the player has not completed all their moves, the game will skip that player’s turns. The amount of time given in a match is relative to the number of boards.



  • 1 Board gives 2 minutes

  • 2 Board gives 2.5 minutes

  • 3 Board gives 3 minutes

  • 4 Board gives 3.5 minutes

  • 5 Board gives 4 minutes

  • 6 Board gives 4.5 minutes



Lastly, we have added a feature that allows you to navigate quickly between your matches.



This Update Includes:





  • Quick skip for un-responsive players

  • Displays turn times, and basic match information

  • Added in quick invitation use

  • Declining and Accepting invites in-game

  • UI improvements – Color coded boards with battalions

  • Several bug fixes

Regimental Chess has added chat rooms
We have added two chat rooms. One chat room is in the main lobby, so you can find other players who are logged in and get a game. The other chat room is in each game. That way you can communicate with your opponent. We hope that this will reduce or eliminate the mystery of whether or not your opponent is even there.
