How To Switch To Beta Branch



To access the properties of a Regular Human Workshop game in your Steam library, select the game, click on the “Settings” button, and choose “Properties” from the dropdown menu.



In the Properties window, please select the “Betas” tab. Then, from the dropdown menu, select the beta branch.

Mod Editor Update

Hello everyone,

I wanted to inform you that the beta version of the Mod Editor Update has been released. It is available on the beta branch, as the Mod Editor is still a work in progress. However, it has reached a stage where you can begin using it to create content. I will continue to make updates to the editor until it is ready for the public release.



Beta Update Includes:

New Serializer:



  • Contraptions will now be serialized with the new serializer. The old one will still be present, but only be used to deserialize old contraptions.
  • Ability to edit contraption data such as name, description, and upload thumbnail images.
  • Ability to overwrite contraption

Game Settings:



  • Settings will be saved to a JSON file and not the registry.

File System Changes:



  • All user files will be kept in the "UserData" directory

Catalog:



  • Catalog has a search bar

Mod Editor:



  • While still not fully finished, you can edit guns, sharp-tipped weapons, and simple physical objects like bricks.
  • Change/Upload images
  • Add/Remove/Edit collider components
  • Assign/Create physical materials
  • Assign/Create physical materials sounds
  • Edit guns properties
  • Edit gun sounds
  • Assign gun projectile

The Mod Editor will have the ability to upload your own custom components, further enhancing the modification capabilities of objects.

*Please note that the update has not been fully finished and tested, so you should expect some bugs and changes. If you run into any problems, please let me know, and I will fix them as soon as possible.

Ragdoll Changes:



  • The head has a brain, so now if you shoot or stab into the head, but don't touch the brain, the body will not die instantly.
  • The chest has a heart, if the heart is shot or stabbed, it will kill all organs and the body will die after some time.
  • The chest has lungs, if the lungs are shot or stabbed, they will die and stop producing oxygen for the body, which will cause the body to die after some time.
  • Dead limbs will rot and, if not healed or cut off, will pass rot to the healthy limbs and will cause the body to die.
  • Joints can be dislocated with force.
  • Limbs can be crushed with force and some guns can explode limbs from close range, same for explosives.
  • Blood drops will spawn blood splatters when they hit something.
  • Added “Heal” button to the context menu.

Sharp Weapons:



  • Sharp weapons will spawn wounds when a limb is pierced.

Inspection Mode:



  • Can be activated by pressing the “D” key, the key can be changed in the settings → controls menu. When activated, will show limbs health, and ghost link attachment points.

What's Next?


I'm sorry it took so long to release the update. I needed to rework the ragdoll code in order to make an editor for it and functional clothing, this stuff will be in the future updates, but it was necessary to do it right now. From now on I will be releasing smaller updates, but more rapidly, with a main focus on making editors for modifying and creating items and mod API. I will start making an editor for simple objects and add some of your requests next.

Gore Settings

Hello everyone,
I have added gore settings to the game, it doesn't add much, but it is important for more sensitive players and content creators. You can find these settings under Settings -> Gore category, and you can choose what gore elements to enable.

Also fixed:
- Files copying from the old directory to the new one bug
- Fixed bug when copied humans share the same wounds data
- Fixed bug when copied or saved, humans are spawned without blood and die in a few seconds

Next, I will be working on a human ragdoll. Will increase gore elements and will add some ability to revive and heal humans.

Quick fix

Hello everyone,

With the update V1.05, I have changed the directory where files of creations are saved. I didn't want to trash your computer with unnecessary files, so the program should have copied files from the old location to the new one and deleted the old directory. But something went wrong and files were not copied, but the directory was deleted and some of you lost your work. I am sorry for being so stupid. Those who haven't started the game with new update files may not be copied, but also they won't be deleted. Later today I will release a fix, so those files will be copied correctly.

I'm sorry for such a stupid mistake, I take full responsibility and your anger towards me. I will make sure this won't happen again.

Skins Editor

Hello everyone,

I'm happy to announce the first game update. This update includes the "Skins Editor" feature, which allows you to create your own skins for humans and share them with other players via Steam Workshop.

How to create skin:

1. When you start the game, you will see a new button in the main menu called "Skins Editor". Click on it to enter editor.


2. Download the skin template to your computer by clicking on the "Download skin template" button.


3. Edit the skin template in your favorite image editor, like Photoshop, Gimp, Paint, etc.

4. Go back to editor and create a new skins package by clicking on the "Create skins package" button. The skins package is like a folder, which contains all the skins you want to upload. You can create how many skins packages you want.


5. Create a new skin in the skins package by clicking on the "Add new skin" button and upload the edited skin template. You can create how many skins you want in the skins package.



6. Save everything.


7. Done! Skins are in the game. They will be visible under "Life" category in the game catalog. You can also upload your skins package to the Steam workshop by clicking on the "Upload to Steam workshop" button.
