Update v0.86 - New hero + Brutal difficulty

This update contains a new hero that can be recruited from the Keep and a new "Brutal" difficulty level. A warning: brutal difficulty is only for players looking for a hardcore challenge.

v0.86 change log:
-New hero "Templar". Can heal allies. Hired from the Keep.

-New difficulty level "Brutal". Enemies and bosses have 50% more health. Catapults appear every wave starting from wave 3.

-Food, wood, stone, and iron can now be purchased for gold from the marketplace.

Update v0.85 - Difficulty Levels

Due to the many complaints regarding the high difficulty of the game, I have added in multiple difficulty levels. Continued games from previous versions will default to Hard difficulty.

v0.85 change log:
-Added in multiple difficulty levels - Easy, Medium, and Hard.

-Victory and defeat screen now displays the difficulty of the game.

-Added option to invert mouse look/aim for both Y and X axis.

Update v0.84 - Endless mode

This update contains a new endless mode, UI improvements, and a more fluid action mode for the Lord (quicker attacks). If you do decide to try out endless mode, be aware that there may be performance and stability issues in later waves due to the number of enemies.

V0.84 Change log:
-Endless mode. Fight against endless waves of enemies.

-Status icons for heroes are now displayed next to the Lord's status icon.

-The Lord can now gain experience and veterancy.

-Increased attack speed of the Lord (animations have less wind up time). Should make action combat with the Lord more fluid and reduce stunlock issues.

-The defeat screen now displays what wave the player was defeated on.

-Game speed can now be increased during attack waves and is limited to 1x only during combat.

Quick fix to cost of housing

A quick fix to revert housing cost back to old values. It was too difficult (almost unplayable) to recover from negative income.

Change log:
-Housing cost has been reverted back to 0 gold and 20 wood (from 200 gold, 10 wood)
-Stone walls can now be built over wooden walls. Will salvage the cost of the wooden wall (25%).
-Building a gate over walls will now salvage the cost of the walls (25%).

Quick Update v0.831

A quick update to address some balance and stability issues.

Map size has been reduced back to 60 from 70. The large map size was causing pathfinding issues and units were getting stuck often.

Wave count has been reduced back to 15 from 18 and the "Fallen Dragon" has now been regulated to a random boss.

Housing now cost 200 gold and 10 wood. Before, housing only cost 20 wood and it was too easy to build a large amount of housing for an absurd gold income rate. With this change, gold should be harder to acquire and more valuable.

Incompatible Saves:
Due to changes to the map size and wave count, saved games from the previous version are incompatible and cannot be continued.

Early Access now available

After a full year since the project first started, Reignfall has finally been released onto STEAM Early Access. This is my first game release and I hope the community has fun with it.

I will be spending the next 2 months adding content (Bosses, Enemies, Items, etc...) and listening to feedback from players in order to polish and complete the game.
