The enigmatic Comte de St. Germain and his quiet apprentice have been winning generous sums across France. What’s more is that the Comte is investigating a mystery that goes as high as the King, Louis XV.
They have perfected their techniques so the cheating goes unnoticed. However, I’ve heard that they can use sleight of hand, card marking, and secret signals to stack the deck in their favor.
If you keep one eye on the cards and the other over your shoulder, you might have the wits to catch them in the act.
There are few crimes lower than dishonesty at the table. If you catch them, I expect they'll receive severe punishment.

Greetings nobles!
You are cordially invited to the launch of our new Discord Server.
Our development team began as a few people making a simple card game. Thanks to all of you, Reigns has expanded to the board game table, Westeros and Beyond.
We want to spend more time communicating with our players, which is where I come in! I'm Jared, Nerial's Community Manager and newest member.
The Nerial Discord Server will be a place where you can tell stories from your playthroughs, ask questions to our dev team, but most of all, celebrate games that share meaningful stories in surprising ways.
We are just one of many studios that have similar goals. We want to make and play games that explore new ideas. If you enjoyed Reigns or if you're interested in our upcoming game, Card Shark, then we are probably quite alike!

Reigns the Council is live on Kickstarter!
We're trying something completely different. A board game!
So Reigns: The Council is an asymmetric party game for 3-6 people about a monarch seeking the harmony of their realm, and their advisors vying to influence them for their own goals. For their first collaboration, Bruno Faidutti and Herve Marly have brought Reigns to the world of boardgames as a party game mixing royally roleplaying, bluff, and strategy.
It seems the achievements have been unplugged since the previous update. I tried to correct that with the latest update. Apparently it was an issue with the Steam Manager. I've updated it, I hope it fixes the issue. If it doesn't, please bear with me, I will need to dig deeper!

Reigns: Her Majesty Now Available
The new sequel Reigns: Her Majesty is out now on Steam!
Reigns: Her Majesty is the revolutionary follow-up to the smash swipe ‘em up hit Reigns. A cultural renaissance has bestowed the world with a new era of knowledge and enlightenment but greed and jealousy still conspire against the benevolent queen. Outwit and outlast those that would seek to depose you and your husband by swiping left or right, making just (or unjust) decisions on all manner of royal matters. Maintain the balance between the kingdom’s most powerful factions, use mystical items from your inventory, and navigate the increasingly complex politics and personal relationships of your dynasty.
This free update adds more than 100 new cards including:
- 1 new character
- 3 new deaths
- 5 new objectives
- 1 fake elephant
The main plot should be slightly easier to solve now. The game should be slightly less repetitive. If you want to reset the game, press R for 5 seconds. Thank you for the amazing welcome you gave Reigns!
Update 1.25
This update should correct a bug on Windows machines with touch support. You should be able to interact with a mouse properly now.
A more consistent content update should happen within 2 months (finishing the writing now, translation next).

Update 1.24
The game is now available in Chinese and Korean.
Update 1.23
This is a content update that should unlock the two impossible objectives (the hat and the printer - which apparently has been discovered by some people already). Also preparing the japanese version of the game (it's playable but we still have to correct a couple of texts).
Update 1.22
This update should solve the corrupt data bug. If that happened to you, try pressing "r" for 5 sec to reset the game. If it doesnt work, try to locate the local game files and delete them (generally in C:\Users\\AppData\LocalLow\devolver\reigns or Users/username/library/cache/devolver/reigns on Mac ). The bug happened when the game was not closing properly, creating faulty game save and unfortunately, I can't retrieve them. Try to press "esc" and use the "quit" button to save your progress.
If you still have the problem, it may be because the game can't write in the local game file (the dir described up there).
This update is also an attempt at solving some of the crashes encountered at start. Still looking into some of these. Feel free to ask for refund if it doesn't work for you.
