New effects and lighting in the beta branch

There's a new version in the beta branch with some new lighting effects, a new level (reach it via Control Room) and stars to collect for completing dangerous levels on Hard mode.
You'll see the new lighting on some levels if you have Graphics set to High.

Here there be monsters!

Just updated the game with track pad movement and dragons to play with.

First major update is complete!

The first collection of updates since the game launched in August are done.

New stuff:
There are now two movement styles, teleport and slide.
There is an enclosed escape room style level.
A machine has been added to skip to any level you have already visited.
Teleports are now powered by crystals which you must collect to progress.
The teleports which have been opened are saved.
Laser beams have been added.
Your progress is shown in the first 'Lobby' level.
Most levels have grown and had new challenges added.
The game is less linear, with some levels having a choice of teleports to open next.

Lots of updates in the beta branch...

I've just posted a big update to the beta branch. Lots of new content in the levels, laser beams, opened teleports and collected crystals stay opened/collected, multiple teleports on some levels, you can see your progress in the lobby, lots of minor fixes tweaks and improvements.

The beta access code is empty and after another day or two of testing, these changes should make their way to the default branch.

New movement options and level select

There are two new machines in the lobby area.

One lets you change the graphics detail and switch the moment between teleport and slide.

The other lets you skip to any level you've previously visited (from this version of the game).

The teleport sound has also been changed.
