A hotfix is now live for one of the bugs that was causing some of you to lose progress. Currently, there are two bugs that are causing this loss:
Players receive an error after each match and lose the progress of that match due to a Backend issue that duplicates information.
The second bug is caused by connection instability, which causes the game to stop sending information to the server. After this error occurs, the player loses all the progress that would have been made after it happened.
We were able to identify the source of the first problem and a fix has been implemented. However, the second one is more complex, and we are still investigating the best way to correct it. While it won't cover all aspects, we hope it brings relief to those affected by the first problem.

Closed Beta 2 - Act 2 Hotfix
Good news, Hunters! A hotfix is now live in Relic Hunters Legend, addressing potential access issues to Act 2 Story missions. đ
While you won't be kicked from your current play session, we advise all players to relog and patch the client before any further adventuring, since players who donât patch may not be able to play co-op with those players who have patched. Happy hunting! âď¸
General FAQ:
Q: I wasnât able to start missions in the Hilltown, Crater, or Trash Sea levels. What do I need to do? A: We identified an issue that prevented some players from starting those missions and worked on a fix. All you need to do is close the game, install the patch, and restart the game. You should then be able to resume your adventure from there.
Q: Iâve mostly played the Betaâs multiplayer. Will I get kicked out of doing multiplayer and co-op missions? A: You wonât get kicked out of the game or the multiplayer mode. Some of the singleplayer Story Mode missions help unlock characters and gear you can use in multiplayer. To access those missions, just log out, close the game, relog back in, and continue your adventure.
Q: Do I need to restart my game after the hotfix? A: Youâll need to close the game, let Steam update, and then jump back in. Happy Hunting!
Q: What if my friend hasnât patched yet? A: No worries! Your friend should patch too, so you both stay compatible. Afterwards, you can enjoy the adventure together!
Q: Is the hotfix only for Act 2? A: Yes! This hotfix focuses on Act 2 story missions.
Q: I have only been playing Act 2 story missions. Will the hotfix remove or change my progress? A: Your progress wonât be impacted by the hotfix. To continue adventuring into Act 2, youâll need to log out, exit the game and relog back in. The patch will have been installed, and youâll be good to go from there.
Q: How do I relog and patch? A: To relog, exit the game and relog back in. For patching, the game should automatically update when you launch it!
Q: Can I continue playing without the hotfix? A: While the game is still accessible even if you havenât installed the patch, we recommend downloading the hotfix for the best user experience in order to progress and play with friends who have.

This Closed Beta is bringing a bunch of new things for you to experience into the game!
Relics are now available!
Relics are a special type of Gear that are unique, have their own unique slot in the Backpack, and can be leveled up with XP to become more powerful and unlock new affixes.
Relics can only be acquired by crafting them, using a special consumable called âRelic Blueprint.â The Blueprint will list the materials needed to Craft, but itâs usually 3 unique Relic Pieces + a few Materials.
Relics also require a minimum REBEL RANK before you are able to craft and use it.
Relic Hunt is now available
A special Adventure that rewards players with a Relic Blueprint.
Relic Hunts usually take some effort to be triggered. Ex: The player must solve a puzzle hidden in a level, get a specific item, and talk to an NPC. Then the adventure starts.
Players can also trigger Relic Hunts by finding a unique key item (with a very low drop chance) in a chest.
There will only be one available Relic Hunt during Closed Beta 2.
Small changes to Ace and Jimmy's skill trees
Players can continue to enjoy unlocking playable Hunters through story mode, and jump into missions either solo, with friends, or with Hunters from around the world to comb the universe for powerful loot and face off against the evil Ducans.
In addition, the progress for players that joined the Closed Beta: Stress Test and Closed Beta 1 will be kept for this Closed Beta.
KNOWN ISSUES
This is an in-development build of Relic Hunters Legend, so you may encounter some issues while you play. Below are some of the known issues you may encounter:
Sometimes the beam from Seven's ultimate is invisible to other Players
LT Speedy will occasionally run away from players and leave the boss fight arena
Armor Breaker in Special Missions provides 0% bonus Nature Damage
There is an invisible ceiling above the red chest in "No Man's Land"
Feats cards disappear when they are claimed in quick succession.
The Spirit stat description does not explain that the stat increases healing value.
Seven's face may disappear during certain cutscenes.
Players can get stuck in specific areas on different missions.
Players can get trapped between props on different maps.
Some performance issues during missions.
Occasionally the application will crash upon quitting the game.

If you encounter any issues while playing, thereâs a handy built-in bug-reporting tool! To access it, hit F3 on your keyboard. This will automatically take a screenshot and attach it to your report, so our team knows where the issue happened.

For instance, if the audio suddenly cut out while playing in the Galyno Canyon stage, you could hit F3 and write:

We're diving headfirst into the weapons and gear stats in Relic Hunters Legend. Ready to unleash your inner warrior? Great! Because we're about to share the countless ways which weapons and gear can transform you into an unstoppable force.
Weapon & Gear Rarity
Relic Hunters Legend features different Tiers and Rarities of Gear. Tiers represent the Gear's level and Enhancement capacity, and Rarity represents the amount and type of Affixes a Gear has.
Your Gearâs Tier also affects your Gear Score, which is a special stat that reflects your Hunter's equipment quality. It will also provide additional bonuses as your Gear Score gets higher.
Affixes
Affixes are bonuses that come together with your gear. From simple ones like "+5% Base Movement Speed" to complex powerhouses like "Shooting while in the air gives you +100% Critical Chance", affixes can shape your playstyle.
Affixes come in varying intensities. A pair of boots may bestow "+12% Base Movement Speed" instead of a meager "+5% Base Movement Speed." The better the Rarity of your weapon, the more Affixes it has. Embrace their diversity, as they help you become a stronger Hunter!
Gear Score
The Tier of your Gear also affects your Hunterâs Gear Score, which is a special Stat that stands for how well-equipped your Hunter is and will give extra bonus the higher rank you get!
Achieving a higher Gear Score rank not only means your Gear is of overall higher quality, but also unlocks cool benefits for your character, such as new portrait borders, a new look for the Hunter, and significant overall bonuses to Attack and Defense values.

Violators of the Community Guidelines are subject to disciplinary actions that can include immediate removal from this Closed Beta, removal from all subsequent Closed Betas, an indefinite loss of in-game chat privileges, and a permanent ban from the Relic Hunters Legends Discord. If you feel a Moderator is acting outside of their role or abusing their permissions, contact a Community Manager with relevant information so they can review the case.

Hey Hunters! Today weâre diving into the explosive world of WEAPONS! Who doesnât enjoy unlocking the best loot? Weâll examine their unique strengths and strategies for BLASTING EVIL DUCANS!
Damage Types
Weapons in Relic Hunters Legend offer two kinds of damage: Physical and Elemental. Each has its own unique damage effects, allowing you to optimize your attacks and exploit enemy weaknesses.
Physical Damage Types
Physical Damage weapons take down shields with ease. There are three types of Physical Damage: Impact, Frag, and Magnetic.
Impact damage is the most common form youâll see. They do +25% extra damage against shields and can stun some targets, helping you gain control of chaotic battles.
Frag damage causes Injury, which inflicts continuous physical damage and deals extra punishment to Health. It also boasts a +25% damage bonus against Shields, ensuring no obstacle can withstand your assault.
Magnetic damage, the rarest and most coveted type, wreaks havoc on Shields with a staggering +75% increased damage. Strikes can Silence enemies, rendering them unable to use special Skills.
Elemental Damage Type
For those who enjoy the elements, Elemental Damage offers three types: Fire, Water, and Nature.
Fire damage inflicts Burn, gradually damaging the target over time and dealing additional harm. It also provides a +25% damage bonus against Armor.
Water damage Freezes foes, immobilizing targets and buying time to eliminate other units and heal. It also provides a +25% damage bonus against Armor.
Nature damage counters regenerative abilities, inflicting Contagion, rendering targets immune to healing from any source. It also provides a +75% damage bonus against Armor.
Choose your weapons wisely and utilize their diverse damage types to take on any challenge.
Weapon Types
Whether you're a fan of Pistols, Auto Rifles, Marksman Rifles, Shotguns, SMGs, Machine Guns, and more, thereâs a weapon for every playstyleâheck there are even Grenade Launchers!
Love sniping? Our Legendary Marksman Rifle, the Trick Shot, has got you covered! Its bonus effects give your Hunter a 100% Critical Chance while shooting in the air! Get up high and fly while shooting down at your foes.
Wanna do some super extra damage? The Legendary SMG, Grim Reaper, is feared by all Ducans, dealing an extra 20% damage for each Condition (Stun, Injury, Silence, Burn, Freeze or Contagion) the targets are suffering from. No Ducan stands a chance!
If you use the Legendary Pistol, All Second Chances, you'll be able to increase Critical Damage by +25% (max stacks 5) for every shot that is not a Critical Hit! Everyone deserves a second chance, after all! Thatâs just a brief look into some of the awesome weapons Relic Hunters Legends have, there are so many more to be discovered!
Weapon Stats
Weapon Stats let you know how strong a weapon can be! These stats are determined by three key attributes: Tier, Affixes, and Enhancement Level. For more power, be on the lookout for weapons with a higher Tier Rarity!
Affixes provide unique gameplay stats that give extra bonuses, like Reload Speed, Skill Recovery Speed, Fire Rate, Ammo Capacity, and more! This helps you customize your gameplay and gives you some extra fighting power.
