Relik B2 ("Beta 2") is a reworked version of the game based on your feedback. We've simplified and improved Relik by focusing on what you love and removing the components that received less interest.
Major Changes
Puzzle building has been completely removed.
Friends list added! Add friends and challenge them to battles where you control the puzzles.
Standard PvP matches are comprised of (3) Puzzles - Runes, Mimic, and Variant
Earn rewards from Daily Reliks that can be used to purchase Skins
Pick-a-cards have been removed

Violet Galaxy Campaign
Fly through a beautiful Violet Galaxy solving increasingly difficult Reliks. Perfect all 20 levels and unlock the Relik Galaxy Theme!
Daily Reliks
Solve three unique Reliks of varying difficulty with puzzles that change daily. Race to the top of each Daily Relik's leader board. The top 3 finishers for each Relik earn glory and loot filled Card Packs!
Card Pack Rework
We've simplified Relik Cards by removing "Pick a Cards" and replacing them with Card Packs. Packs contain fewer cards but all of them can be flipped for free, and they're more uniform across the game. This is critical since there are so many new ways to unlock card packs throughout Relik.

New Puzzles are Live!
The wait is finally over! New Relik puzzles are here! Unlike most of the original puzzles which focused mostly on memory, the new Relik puzzles will test your quickness (Variant), problem solving (Escape), and perception (Maze Revamped).
Variant
Quickly spot the out-of-place rune. Race your opponent to 5 points. You must be quick but careful as the wrong selection costs you a point or gives one to your opponent.
Escape
Slide blocks around to clear a path to the exit. Forward is not always better; plan carefully, then make your move! Build your highly custom Escape puzzle block by block to thwart your opponents.
Maze Revamp
The Maze puzzle now only occupies one Relik face. We've significantly increased the grid size on that face and most critically reduced your opponent's vision to a small radius around the maze token! Reduce that radius even further and increase your own token's speed by upgrading your Maze puzzle.

Your #1 request addressed
More puzzles. You've been asking for it since Relik was first released on Early Access. Now that RT is complete and mostly bug free, we can move on to this often requested feature. We have 3 puzzles in the works - 2 of which will make the final cut. Targeted release is July 2018.
More Non-real-time Content
Beta queue times are a beast. They're a beast we anticipated for by adding long queue bots and allowing building / training while in queue. We want to do more + we have some great content ideas designed to work outside of real-time anyway. Hang in there as we continue to flesh these out and add them to Relik over the next several weeks.

Real-time & Reset coming Thursday May 17th, 2018!
Real-time is finally here!
Prepare to experience Relik in all its real-time glory. Battle other players head to head, build Factions, sharpen your skills in practice mode, chat and trade in real-time, use new themes, and more!
Server-wide Puzzle / Currency Reset
We have good news and bad news, and they're both the same: all player puzzles and currencies (with the exception of gems) will be reset for Relik RT.
This will ensure players start off on mostly even footing for RT
A free, exclusive Relik Theme for all early adopters At the time of reset on Thursday, all existing players will receive an exclusive "Gamer" theme. After May 17th, 2018, we will never release this theme again to anyone - ever.
Any currencies acquired through in-game purchases will be refunded. (eg: if you spent $0.99 on 100 gems, 100 gems will be added to your balance on reset)
Gems, Themes, and Theme Cards will not be affected by the reset.
Match Queues
The Good Matches are 1v1 so only 2 players are needed per match
You can do almost anything in game - like build your Relik - while in Queue
The Bad Active players dwindled over the 5 months it took us to make one huge update that works best with a lot of active players.
Temporary Adjustment Players in queue for over a set period of time may be offered a Bot. Don't worry. She's harder, temporary, and balanced so players cannot bot boost.
Other Changes
The new format does not work well with clocks or weekly leagues so both have been removed.

Real-time is coming May 2018!
From the ground up
As you might imagine, converting the game to real-time multiplayer is a few steps shy of creating Relik's core game play from scratch. Thanks for everyone's patience while we continue to work on this huge update.
We can finally say with a high level of confidence that we will be releasing Relik in all its real-time glory later this month, so stay sharp with classic mode and we'll post an exact date on RT as soon as we have it.
