0.9.4 is live!

New Feature - Maze Token Acceleration


Creating a 2-path "all-or-nothing" maze is no longer a viable option. The maze token now increases in speed if it has not reached an intersection (turns are not intersections) in 5 tiles. The speed is capped at double, but this is great incentive to get creative with various forks and crossroads in your maze.

Edit: speed is also reset on maze edges, but we will be nerfing this a bit in today's patch.

Bug Fixes


- Throwing a server error is now much less likely to snowball into other errors and sync issues.
- Looking at your own profile should now always show accurate season / best trophies.
- More double-click bug fixes.
- Some of the (still rare, but...) more common PAC bugs.
- Other miscellaneous bugs.

Coming Soon - Casual Mode!


You pick the difficulty and your trophies aren't affected - win or lose. A great way to relax and enjoy the puzzles without worrying about ladder rank or level 20 bots.

0.9.3 Released!

Many thanks to the over 2,500 players that have downloaded Relik in just over 2 days. Your enthusiasm for the game has invigorated our team and we're pushing hard to improve Relik as much as we can.

We did not make an announcement for 0.9.2, but as you might guess, the theme of Relik's first two updates are Bug Fixes.

Big Bug Fixes


- Making and saving an unsolvable Rune puzzle should now be impossible. As a failsafe, if somehow a player is able to make and save an unsolvable design, it will be replaced by a random solvable design when they are attacked (so don't even think about it)
- Upgrading a puzzle multiple times during its spin animation won't make it land on another puzzle.
- Multiple game crashing bugs have been squashed - including those on attack start and end.

Bug Fixes


- New players should much less frequently encounter "Initial connection failed" error.
- Game does not crash if you solve a puzzle in the last second.
- Battle history correctly shows Victory and Defeat icons based on Your perspective (instead of always the attacker's perspective)
- Fixed unread events icon
- Fixed battle history trophies
- Other small bugs.

Known Bugs we're still working on


- Game freezes on In App Purchase. We've added additional debug in this patch for this. Thanks for your patience while we work on taking your money better.
- Invalid PAC card count bug when game first loads.
- Various sync issues where the client and server don't agree on your currency and PAC amounts.
- Other small bugs.

We hope to have these fixed very soon. Please continue to send us your reports.

Features


Thanks to your feedback and participation, we have a lot of ideas for new features. We'd much rather work on these than bugs, but have a hard time chucking responsibility. Our plan is to get Relik very stable, then start cranking out some cool new stuff!

Relik is Live on Early Access!

The Iron 27 team is thrilled to bring you Relik!

Early Access


Relik is very stable and ready for you to enjoy. You can start solving player puzzles and building your Relik now! We do have a few minor aesthetic issues we are still working on, but you likely won't even notice them and we'll be releasing updates often.

Mac Retina


We pushed extra hard to make sure Relik was available on Mac as well. We managed to pull this off, but we are not happy with the current resolution offered on Mac Retina displays. We're working on it, so hang in there Retina users!
