If you’ve been following Remothered: Tormented Fathers for a while, you already know that we do care about feedback from the community to improve the game.
Some of you have pointed out that it would be useful to have some guidance when starting the game for the first time, in order to get more comfortable with controls. We considered this request and we decided to take action to ensure a less steep learning curve for players.
That’s why we’re introducing a new in-game tutorial. This new feature will give you a taste of core mechanics so you can master them since the beginning.
Thanks to the tutorial you will be showed the controls you need to know in certain situations the first time you experience them in the game.
If you feel your previous meetings with Remothered: Tormented Fathers have been too harsh due to the lack of initial guidance, we suggest you to download the new update.
How to receive it? Just restart your Steam client and it will install automatically!
Are you worried that this new feature will make the game too easy to enjoy? You have nothing to fear. The overall difficulty of the game is not going to change. Rest assured, the tutorial won’t make the experience any less challenging or thrilling.

We’ve got some exciting news to share with you! Today, we’re rolling out an update that brings some of the most requested features by the community.
The first announcement is for Arabic and Korean speakers! You will be happy to know that the game has been localized in your languages! Welcome to the family!
Remothered: Tormented Fathers now supports 15 languages. That’s a great milestone for us and we’re happy to have more and more players from all around the globe who can fully enjoy the game.
Today’s update also brings Steam Cloud support. This feature allows you to sync your progress over different devices. This is very helpful if you happen to play on different PC’s or if you’re planning to upgrade to a new computer. With Steam Cloud enabled, you don’t lose any of your data. It’s safely stored in the cloud, you don’t have to worry about that.
The patch that rolls out today also makes the gaming experience more pleasant, since it also brings bug fixing and performance optimization under the hood.
To receive the update, just restart your Steam client. The patch will download and install automatically.
P.S.: What about the surprise? Well, here it is… Have you purchased the Original Soundtrack or the Digital Artbook on Steam? We’ve just updated these DLC’s as well! The Digital Artbook now features more unreleased art and is also bigger in size (it's a 133 page document now). The Original Soundtrack has become audiophile friendly since it also includes the files in FLAC lossless format. Just restart your Steam client to receive the updated DLC’s. Enjoy!

First things first, we would like to thank all the survival horror fans who’ve decided to support the game’s release. Remothered is quickly becoming a buzzword among horror players and this is very exciting for everyone of us at Darril Arts and Stormind Games.
We do care about your enthusiasm. That’s why we’re constantly listening to your suggestions: your feedback is very important to us and we want to give you the purest survival horror gaming experience you can think of.
As a matter of fact, we’ve just released a patch that improves the game’s performances and fixes some minor issues. However, the most important change that comes with this new update involves gameplay balance.
Some of you have reported that the gameplay in the sewers and in the attic was not up to the standards of the rest of the game.
We’ve heard you loud and clear. Our developers have been working to finetune the gameplay in those areas to provide you an engaging gaming experience.
If you’ve abandoned the game in one of those areas, you will find this update useful. Those game sequences are now more balanced and you will have a smoother experience.
