[Update 8] Escape Buttone and the Menus

Hello,

This update just fixed one thing:

You can now use the Escape Key (or any other key you set) to close all menus.

Thats all :P
Thanks.

[Update 6 and 7], "Known" issues.

Hello,

today i have two things to announce.

1: The changes:

- Yellow Cubes are now by default selected after starting a new game.
- minor changes to the underlying technical stuff.

2: "Known Issues":

There seems ot be an Issue where Puzzle 2 is not working, very rarely, but i could not replicate this or find anything that is broken with it. (All puzzles work the same, on a technical level, so it should not be "just 2" that breaks, but it is.)

IF you should be affected by this issue, please provide me with some information about "what you did" before the bug occured, since i can not track it down, it is also not happening for 99% of the players)

Please also test if the previous room (1) is still working.

FIX: Just load the Autosave for "2"

I am sorry that this isnt fixed yet, but i will fix it as soon as i know what actually is causing this, or what makes people "break it" (I checked everything multiple times, i could not replicate this, and there are no obvious issues at all.)

Thank you!

[Update 5]

Hello,

This Update fixed/added the following:

- Tutorial Hints can now be hidden with "H" (default)*
*The game will not set the keybinding automatically if you already launched it previous to this update, but its set to default for all new players.

- A new menu where you can choose a different type of crosshair.

- some minor things like "grass visible through floor".

Thats all for now, thank you.

[Update 3 and 4]

Hello,

The last two updates added/changed the following things:

- There are now small videos in the tutorials
- Savegames are now sorted from new to old (newest ones on top)
- HUD is now toggled completely if you toggle the visibility
- autosave-location for Puzzle 17 has been moved

Thats all for now, thanks.

[Update 1 and 2]

Hello,

the last two updates fixed the following things:

- A rare case where Cubes could get stuck in the floor if reactivated at the right moment.
- A placeholder Text
- some minor changes.

There will be some more patches during the next days, mainly additions and improvements.

Thank you.

Release

Hello,

i finally got rid of all (known) issues and the game is now out.

There will be one (or more) small patches in the upcoming hours that will improve some minor things.

If you should find any bugs, please report them. (I will make sure that they are fixed as fast as possible.)

Thank you.

Change of Release (again)

Hello,

I had to move the Date to tomorrow since i did not manage to get this game working in time.

Too many small issues that appeared today when i wanted to do a final "check" if everything is working.

I am sorry for this, but i dont want to throw around a bunch of day-1-patches that break more than they fix because of this.

If i get it done earlier, i will release it in the meantime.

Thank you for your patience, i am sorry.

PS: there is no intention behind this, but i dont want to have the mess that i had with the first Rethink back in 2017. (Sometimes unexpected issues appear when you are dealing with completely new things.)

If it needs to be, i will work through the whole night to have it done for tomorrow.

Change of Release

Hello,

i am sorry to tell you that i had to move around the Release a bit, it is now:

October, 1st, 10:00 AM Pacific.

Explanation:

I could have released it today, but it would have come at the cost of quality and testing.

The Game itself is fine, i played through all of it.
There are no major issues that would have prevented a release, but it needs a bit more fine-tuning and testing. (Mainly because some of the puzzles turned out to be absurdly difficult and complex, even for me, and i made them.)

Sorry, and thank you for your patience.

=========

I created this Game completely from scratch, even if some Objects look the same, they are not.

I dont want to have this thing released without it being properly tested, especially since everything is new.

A full list of Improvements and Changes will be provided on Release, but in short: pretty much everything.
