New Update and Arms Race Pack DLC Available!

Greetings Drone Pilots,

It’s been a while but it’s amazing to see so many of you enjoying Retrograde Arena! We’ve got some exciting new updates and another DLC for those of you who want to pay some $$$/¥¥¥ to us hard working devs!

Check out the details below

Update Log:

1. New Player Stats window
Player and weapon stats so you can see who dominated with which weapon!

2. Game mode Selection
Game mode selection makes it easier to pick which type of match you want to be included in. Especially useful for the DLC owners wanting to play with those without the map packs!

3. New weapon: Hot War
Schmexy new weapon for updated carnage.

New Arms Race DLC Available!

The DLC includes Arms Race game mode and six maps.

Arms Race: Increase your level and upgrade your weapon by eliminating enemies. Win the match by being the first player to get a kill with the last weapon. There are UNLIMITED BULLETS for all weapons You'll respawn immediately after dying and get back to the action quick. A super-duper skill game mode that requires fast thinking and reflex.

The DLC Includes:

1. Arms Race game mode
2. Arms Race maps:

Cross-Bounce: A claustrophobic map with short range and long-range battles.
Bouncy Barriers: Symmetrical map where no place is safe!
Inner Sanctum: Small map that will force Close Quarter Shootouts.
Asterisk Arena: Maps with a lot of shortcuts for unlimited play dynamics!

3. Arms Race converted maps:

Prototype Arena
X Arena

Extra Maps:

1. King’s Crown map:

Museum: Arena that forces you to fight up close and personal to steal the crown.

2. Supersizer map:

Gladiator Arena: Different weapons, different strategy each round!

FAQ

1. What makes this different than deathmatch?

Unlimited bullets and you will change weapons after certain number of eliminations

2. Why do the time limit change?

The time limit change according to the number of players in the match.

3. My friends don't own the DLC, can they join this mode?

Anyone can join the mode as long as the game host own the Arms Race DLC

New Deathmatch Pack DLC Available!

DLC includes Deathmatch game mode with six new maps.

Deathmatch: You must eliminate as many other players as possible within the time limit. You'll respawn immediately after destruction for rapid tempo gameplay. A high-octane game mode that will keep you on your toes.

This DLC Includes:

1. Deathmatch game mode

2. Deathmatch maps:

Rooms: Classic maps retooled for Deathmatches
Cross-Bounce: a claustrophobic map with short range and long-range battles.
Bouncy Barriers: Symmetrical map where no place is safe!
Mirror Mirror: A map with mirrors encircling the perimeter, all bullets will always bounce on perimeter!

3. Deathmatch converted maps:

Prototype Arena
Barriers on Demand

Extra Maps

King’s Crown map: Find and chase the crown through narrow passages
Supersizer map: Cages: A map separated by mirrors forcing everyone to get up close and personal with the shotgun

1. Is this a team deathmatch?
- No, it isn't. This is a free-for -all deathmatch

2. Why does the deathmatch time limit change?
- The time limit change according to the number of players in the match.

3. My friends don't own the DLC, can they join this mode?

Fixed bug: Flak Cannon Achievements not showing in game.

Retrograde Arena Goes Free To Play🌌

Hello All!

First things first, we’ve made the decision to make Retrograde Arena a Free to Play title. The most important thing is that EVERYONE who purchased Retrograde Arena before now will be given a full refund. Thank you so much for your support but the last thing we want to do is have anyone feel cheated! There’s been a little bit of a hiccup on Steam’s backend but we expect everything to up and running by 10AM PST time!

We’ve decided that Free to Play is the path forward for Retrograde Arena as our current goal is to get as many people playing the game as possible. Currently, our fans are spread across the world and getting people together is proving more difficult than imagined. We hope that by lowering the cost of entry, more people will get to experience and enjoy a game that we worked VERY hard on.

So how can you support us? We will have a supporters pack DLC available for purchase for the low price of $4.99 (or regional equivalent) which contains a few extra skins and cosmetics. Nothing game changing but every time we see someone sporting these skins in the Arena, you know that we will be feeling nothing but love!

We also have some exciting updates coming soon! We cannot wait to share more with you in the next few weeks.
