The reason is that I can no longer justify patching / performing customer support. For the time that this game was for sale, I gave every troubled customer my undivided attention. Over 5 years, however, my commitments have changed; I can no longer offer that kind of dedication. Because I can't support the product to that extent, I don't feel I have any right to charge money for it.
On top of that, this game has long surpassed the end of its life-cycle; I figure that if I'm not making money on it, then I might as well make it available to everyone.
I would like to thank everyone who supported RFLEX over the years. Publishing a full game was always a lifelong dream of mine, and because of you I was finally able to achieve it.
Enjoy, Wes L.
Patches
Hey guys!
I'm really happy to see that you like the game; as of now we have 12 positive reviews and 0 negative (for now).
You may have noticed there have been a few updates since the release. These are mostly just minor fixes / improvements; I don't plan to be adding new features or gameplay for a while.
- Fixed a controller rebinding issue
- Fixed the last-time entry on the death screen
- Fixed leaderboards (now there's 500 entries, flawlessly rendered, with 3 display modes)
