Rhythium Season 1 - Storm Surge
Season 1
With the launch of Rhythium coming in Late February its time to announce season 1 and the rewards it brings. Season 1 will launch March 1st (NZST).
Firstly for those that have yet to hear about this feature. Seasons are a month long event in Rhythium that competes players against each other in set conditions in the aim of getting an exclusive reward.
Challenge
Season 1 will feature the first song Rhythium developed, Dusk.
Song: Dusk Mods: -Judgements -Hardmode -Nightcore
Rewards
Now the part we have all been waiting for, Rewards. Rhythium will feature 2 tiers of rewards for season 1. Both of which will only be available during the event.
All players who compete in the event will receive the 'Electro' player frame while the top 10% of player will receive the prestigious 'Volatage' player frame to show their skills during Season 1.
Bonus
To say thank you to everyone and to kick of season 1 all players will be able to use the 'Shock' skin after completing 5 default songs with B's or higher!
This is just the beginning of Rhythium. I hope that many of you get to enjoy competing against each other as Rhythium grows and new content is added!

Introducing Ranked Seasons!
Introducing Ranked Seasons!
A new way to compete with the community. Every month a new season will begin and with it its own challenge of the month.
Each month 1 song will be selected as well as 1 - 4 difficulty modifiers. On top of this judgements will also be enabled, meaning you can score 300, 100 or 50 points a hit depending on accuracy. Everyone's modifiers and song will be the same for the month.
Adding judgements to this gamemode is designed to create a more competitive gamemode where people can really compete to see who is the best at the end of each month. I know this game is meant to be more chill so thats why i have created this as an avenue for more competitive players to have the option to play.
Finally there will be rewards, at this current stage rewards are still being planned and im hoping to have an open disccusion with everyone about what they would love to see.
While the seasons will reset each month. Season 1 will not start until the game releases so until then we will be having "Alpha seasons" which will be denoted as season 0.

Firstly, thank you everyone!
Firstly I would like to say thank you for those of you who submitted something for the skin contest. I would also like to thank all of you who have helped make Rhtyhium what it is today, especially those of you who have joined the discord. Thanks to all of you the game has changed so much during the alpha and you have inspired me to add so many new things.

The future
Lastly I want to talk about the future of this game.
Back when I released the alpha for Rhythium back in July the games scope was quite small. I wanted to make something that I enjoy and hoped you all would too. Many of you joined in the following months and offered amazing feedback. As the game grew I wanted to offer more to you all. With global leader boards, custom songs etc.
This has expanded the scope of the game and I cant quite say I'm yet ready to stop working on all the amazing ideas you all have. At this rate the alpha may continue into 2022. This will allow me to add even more awesome suggestions and let me polish things even more.
