We're hope you're all having fun playing our game! This patch is mostly about fixes, modifications/balance changes on some levels and one mutator!

Additions/modifications:


  • Disabling 'Mouse Lock' - You can now disable mouse lock, if you have issues with your mouse/tablet movements.
  • Disabling 'Fast Restart' - You can now disable fast restart
  • Balance - Levels - We made balance changes to a few levels (General Error, Clown, Mr. Coffee & Saguaro)
  • Balance - Mutators - We made a few balance changes to 'Light Off' mutator.


Fixes:


  • Fixed the issue with levels sometimes not starting
  • Fixed a blackscreen issue that could occur
  • Fixed our focus/unfocus trigger events
  • Fixed the way we applied "Mouse Lock" triggers
  • Fixed some display issues with % completion

  • ALL MUTATOR CHALLENGE - The ultimate challenge is now here, try it if you dare..
  • TUTORIAL is now available in this build
  • REWORKED UI - Part of all our improvements, a lot of our UI has been improved
  • IMPROVED THE PLAYER'S TRAIL - Following last patch addition, we kept on improving the new trail

  • Updated to the latest version of the engine
  • Fixed issues with Warnings not properly rotating with layers
  • Fixed all formulas for Parallax scrolling

Rhythmy - Ver. 0.6.3a (beta)

Hi there!

New patch coming out today, we have a new level ("Go" from Vexento), improvements of our settings, improvements of everything related to the player (movements, trails etc..) we also added even more QoL features as we're getting close to Early Access! We'll share more details on that very soon!

  • NEW LEVEL - You can now experience level 2 from Chapter 2, Vexento - "Go"
  • SETTINGS IMPROVEMENTS - We now have proper settings with more than just volume, let us know on Discord what settings you'd like
  • NEW PLAYER'S TRAIL & MOVEMENT - We rewrote everything as for player's movement and trail, let us know what you think!
  • MOUSE-LOCK FEATURE - Mouse will now be locked to the frame during playtime, so if you have dualscreen, you won't get out of bound anymore!
  • 3 NEW ACHIEVEMENTS


Fixes:


  • Updated to the latest version of the engine
  • Fixed some issues with the new Victory Screen (mostly display issues)
  • Fixed the pause abuse issue
  • Fixed all player's formulas, movements should feel really smooth now

  • Fixed a few hitboxes that weren't the right ones
  • Reworked the ressource/music loading, hope that will fix issues linked to it

Rhythmy - Ver. 0.6.1a (beta)

Hi there!

Probably the last patch of this month. It's a smaller one compared to 0.6.0a, but there's some long awaited features/requests in it! We reworked most UI that were still in the wait, we added even more quality of life features as well as improvements to the game's performance, we hope you'll enjoy this patch right before the new year!

Additions/modifications:


  • NEW LOADING LAYOUT - Will handle the ressource loading process as well as displaying a seizure warning reminder
  • NEW VICTORY SCREEN - Revamped the victory screen, and well as some saved data
  • PROGRESS BAR WITHIN THE LEVEL - You'll now be able to see in real-time how far you are in the level
  • Will not be displaying patchnotes more than 1 time per patch (so game startup will be faster)
  • FPS Counter, press F10 in the Main Menu, to either enable or disable it


Fixes:


  • Updated all our internal plugins for future updates
  • Optimized some draw calls, especially for the main menu, which should run smoother on lower configurations now
  • Fixed a few issues with our save system
  • Another fix attempt for the audio being played too loud sometimes

Rhythmy - Ver. 0.6.0a (beta)

Here is the long awaited 0.6.0a PATCH, which will include the first level of this new chapter: Orange Factory

With it, more enemies/behaviours, a rework of the Purple City theme as well for all current levels, QoL features and more!

Rhythmy - Ver. 0.5.8a (beta)

Hi there!

Here we are! We're finally moving from alpha stage to a beta stage now! Game has progressed a lot since the very early alpha stages we started back in last March! And we're so proud to tell you that the game is moving forward to this next milestone, the beta.

This means we're getting even closer to the start of the early access phase, we'll let you know more about it as soon as we can, about what's next for Rhythmy!

In the meantime, I wanted to thank all of you, over social medias, youtube, discords that are sending that much positive feedback for the game, I couldn't thank you enough for that, it means a lot to me! This game has been in development for a few years now, and seeing it progressively evolving, and getting attention from people, I couldn't be more happy! So thank you for that!

  • Windowed mode now enabled: You can enable/disable it by pressing F11 here or in the main menu
  • UI Overhaul: Many texts, displays have been reworked, so now it should be way more clear
  • Level's song preview will now also preview Speed Up
  • Reworked many hitboxes & optimized meteors performances
  • Reworked Clown - Visual effects, this way should feel way better
  • Reworked & Rebalanced Doki Doki - tweaked some patterns to be more fair, reworked some effects & events
  • Reworked invincibility frames/animations, it should be feeling better when you get hit, and also work as expected with the new pause system

  • Fixed some mouse behaviours
  • Fixed some possible out of screen issues in windowed mode
  • Fixed Speed up, not applying correctly to every objects/events

  • New Level : "Doki Doki", you can now play the 3rd level of Purple City!

  • New resync system, this system will help resync the level if you encounter somehow a major desync
  • NEW Shake System, FlashLights are now properly implement in the game
