Nex Update levels

Hello sweepers.
I'm Hugo, the director of Rift Sweepers.

We would like to share the next update level and other developments we are currently working on.


Castle and Cage
The next level update is called Castle and Cage.
We are designing this level to be easier than previous levels.
In this level, players navigate demon-infested medieval time passages.
We are planning to deliver this level in November.

DRPA
In DRPA, Sweepers will find ID cards and control computers to hack the security systems.
Also, sweepers should try to avoid surveillance cameras.
As we said before, our team restarted this level to create a better game experience.
We are working hard to deliver this level to you as quickly as possible.



Little pigs in the cabin
In this level, Sweepers will care for the pig who happens to be a very talented inventor.
While this pig is making the portal with atomic reactors, sweepers have to keep this cabin warm and to keep the pig from getting hungry.

Wizard's Tomb rift is available

Hello, Sweepers.
I'm Hugo, the director of Rift Sweepers.


We have been working hard to update the new 'Wizard's tomb' level.
This Rift is about getting the wizard's sarcophagus before demons get their hands on it.
Rift Sweepers will take supplies from the sky, keep the RS-wifi signal going, and solve rune puzzles.
We hope sweepers will enjoy the new level.

Unfortunately, we have to delay the release of the second level: 'DRPA'.
After releasing our game, we received a lot of feedback through various communication channels.
With these opinions, we realised that we need to make some improvements to our level building techniques.
Our previous draft of 'DRPA' was following our old techniques, so our team concluded 'DRPA' might not be satisfactory for players.
Although we have already designed more half of this level, we decided it's better to restart the level to create a better game experience for you when you play 'DRPA'.


The screenshots below are images from the next two levels.


Castle and Cage is a level which involves fighting in the rift, set on western medieval times.
In this level sweepers should set some Ents free and destroy the plans of demons.



Little Pigs in the cabin is a survival level
This level has cold weather, so sweepers should manage the temperature and food while building the gate to the other pig brother's hut.

Wizard's tomb rift is available

Minor patch with bug fixes

1. While reloading, 'Hit animation' doesn't play.
2. Hot-line phone booth has been placed out of the bar. After playing a mission once, players can use this phone to call the tram to the last destination.
3. The position of 'Destination info' in the bar has been changed.
4. Bug fixes
- Unnatural Wendigo's visual effects have been fixed with Tortus's effects.
- The attack range bug of John's mine when he placed the mine on Hirudon has been fixed.
- The situation, Finn's voice was playing in Sewer Buster recursively, has been fixed.

Hello Sweepers,

RSHQ will inform you of the next content update schedule.
It's about two new missions coming to Sweepers and an update schedule.

The fourth mission of [Rift Sweepers] is ‘Wizard’s Tomb’. This mission is to enter an ancient tomb found in the desert and retrieve it to preserve the coffin of the ancient wizard that the demons are trying to destroy. You will complete the mission by breaking through the traps and devices that block the player, and the attacks of the demons. The boss you will encounter here is a giant golem.


The fifth mission is 'DRPA'. This mission is to rescue a living creature used in the experiments necessary to develop robots in a science laboratory that has been swept away by demons. You will search and pass through security to save a creature left in the laboratory. And you will destroy robots that are controlled by the demons that stand in your way. The boss you will encounter here is a big robot.


Two missions will be updated on October 21st. Of course, it will be updated sooner when ready.

RSHQ will continue to prepare enough missions and other contents for the Sweepers to enjoy playing. For Sweepers, RSHQ will do its best.

Minor patch

Minor adjustments have been made regarding mission difficulty.

RSHQ notifies Sweepers by updating the version of the game.
This update is focused on improving mission-related aspects, especially mission difficulty, as follows:

1. First of all, two additional difficulty levels have been prepared that are lower than before. Now Sweepers can experience a total of 5 difficulty levels. As a result, there have been changes to the fine-tuning and difficulty selection UI for each difficulty. The candy icon was adopted as the icon for the first 2 levels of difficulty, and the remaining 3 difficulties were expressed as a skull icon.

2. The details of the improvement are briefly as follows.
For each level of difficulty, there is a change in the time limit of the detailed objectives, and the type and frequency of appearance of monsters have changed. Also, the AI patterns and max HP of some monsters have changed. For example, Conopeum's maximum health is at 50% of the previous version, and the AI pattern has changed, such as removing the pattern that moved rapidly from side to side. Minor adjustments were made to the movement and stun times of the Hirudon in the Sewer Buster mission.
In the mission selection UI, depending on the difficulty, the mission reference image for the difficulty in which the boss appears and the difficulty in which it does not appear is different. In the Warp Station, when the user selects the difficulty level that the boss appears, the image of the boss that appears is displayed on the mission selection UI.

This update is focused on enabling users to have a pleasant experience that advances to the next level of the game while clearing missions. RSHQ will continue to listen carefully to users' opinions, reflect them, and develop and update the game.

RSHQ will do its best so that the early access process can be a series of pleasant waiting for users. Although the process may be a little difficult, it is also a truly enjoyable journey for RSHQ. We are always grateful and sorry for the waiting of users.

RSHQ notifies you of next update plans.

We analyzed feedback from emails of users, YouTube and Twitch broadcasts in the days following Early Access. We've seen that most sweepers fail missions even at the lowest level of the mission. This is hindering the enjoyable experience of users taking to the next level as they clear missions. Accordingly, we will update the mission difficulty by subdividing it as follows.

1. Two additional lower difficulty levels will be prepared for every mission. When users select the difficulty of a mission, note that the icon representing the lower difficulty is a candy or a baby bottle.
2. When a lower difficulty is selected, the detailed objectives of the mission and whether the boss appears or not will be adjusted. Therefore, when playing with increasing difficulty, we will prepare so that users can have fun with each difficulty appropriately.

First of all, we plan to implement the above update within a few days and notify you of the update.
After that, we will prepare an update that unlocks 2 missions that are currently locked.
In addition, we plan to prepare an update for weapon skills that can change the attack pattern of the currently released player character.

RSHQ will continue to listen carefully to users' opinions and continue to update content to complete [Rift Sweepers] as a really fun game.
