Build notes 1.5.03f2 - M1 Mac fix and Discord server update
Hi all, this is a small patch to update the Twice Different logo and Discord links as we approach the announcement of our next game!
This patch also include a fix for UI text not appearing on M1 Macs and recent OS. There's still a known graphical issue with the News Feed on new Mac OS, however this should significantly improve the experience for our Mac players.
Our Discord server is now a studio server. We've decided to keep our communities together as we're generally interested in making dark strategy games for a similar type of player.
Hello friends! I wanted to share some news from the Twice Different team. ːRoPFrogː
First up, we're so grateful to have found some success with Ring of Pain which has enabled us to add a ton of free extra content since launch. I've mentioned in the past that we've been uncertain about adding more content due to our focus being on our next dark strategy game... However, I have some news!
We've decided to give our community an opportunity to be a part of another small content update.
Item design challenge
On our Discord we've just started an item design challenge with a brief. We're interested in adding some synergies for item sets and making content inspired by the community.
This is a chance to get your idea into the game! We'll be running this event until mid April so check the #events channel on Discord for more information.
Upcoming game announcement
We're also getting close to being able to announce our next project, and we'll be figuring out a plan to do some community testing this year (hopefully pretty soon).
We'll be expanding our Discord to include the next title we're working on as well, so if you're interested in knowing more, join us on Discord and all will be revealed soon...

Build notes 1.5.03 - Minor Daily Dungeon fix
Balance
Updated the Dominant Daily Dungeon modifier
We've slightly buffed the player going into a Daily Dungeon with the Dominant modifier. You will now start with a small amount of Souls (for Soul Spilling) and Poison spellbook.
The Dominant modifier was previously buffed, but not enough! Now it should be much more enjoyable if the Daily rolls the most challenging levels.

2 new Light items to unlock by completing the game on harder difficulties.
Each with its own interesting perk and challenge.
Note: For one of these items, each difficulty will have their own version of the item to track its state. If you progress this item on Normal difficulty, it will not affect Medium and Hard difficulties

Fixed a bug where Wishing Well can kill players
The bug reporting tooltip is back!
Fixed certain Scrolls and Spellbooks from spawning cards in shrine rooms
Fixed issues with item cards overlapping with other cards in Daily Dungeons
When equipping items such as Misting Vessel, with effects that can go beyond a chance stat's upper limit, the stats UI will now reflect the new max cap being 100% rather than 80%.
Cursed Bounty can be used in boss rooms now
Fixed Heart Power behaving strangely
Choker's item effect no longer activates when using Phase Friend

This year has been an interesting one for our team as we've juggled building content with working on our next strategy game, and also taking some well deserved holidays after the past 2 years of isolation!
