Rise Of Crustaceans Will Be Taken Down Temporarily
So I just wanted to start with saying we are sorry for the lack of updates and attention received towards RoC and I have decided to temporarily take down the game until I get better and am able to fix issues and bugs with the game and port it into a newer engine and rewrite some mechanics, I am hoping this won't take too long but of course with the ongoing pandemic and trying to work nearly 50 hours a week and also trying to get better it might take a bit longer than I hope, I will not be abandoning the game at all so please don't worry!
I just didn't want to leave anyone in the dark, I want to thank everyone who has supported us this far and just to reiterate we will be back!

Hello to everyone!
Just want to start off by saying we all apologise for the silence since only two people are working on Rise Of Crustaceans Development slowed down a bit as we have jobs but that didn't mean we stopped working on it!
Since the last post Rise Of Crustaceans has come a long way we are so close to finishing so within the next few weeks i will keep you all updated with screenshots and more.
The game runs much more smoother while looking 100% better.
Most scripts have been redone to work better.
I just want to apologise again but we are nearly there so just be patient for a little longer!

Rise Of Crustaceans Undergoing Huge Changes
Since the release of Rise Of Crustaceans(RoC) we have made some updates and changed some many things. We have received loads of feedback from players and decided that RoC will undergo some major changes and updates keeping the same game but changing the way scripts work and behave hopefully making the player experience much better and enjoyable. We will add stuff and remove stuff and keep things that we think will benefit players! How about you let us know what you wanna see stay and what you wanna see go!!
As it is coming very close too the full release of RoC i think these changes too our game will benefit us and you and hopefully will attract more players.

I also want to say a big thanks to people who still play RoC and apologize for the lack of updates recently but that is about to change with our Major update coming in the next month or so!
Update 3 - New Level, Lighting, New Menu & Bug fixes
Levels:
*New*Airfield
*Updates On All other Levels (Nothing Major)
-Airfield is a great level if you want to run circles around your enemies as it is open enough to do so!
Goo:
Goo is new and on some levels, touch it and you insta die but why don't you try it for yourself?
Lighting:
-Lighting has been updated for better performance and quality allowing players to have a more enjoyful expierence.
New Menu:
-We have added a new main menu which is so much better than the last, less resource taking but keeping visuals amazing while also allowing the player to enjoy browsing the menus.
Bug Fixes:
-Fixed a bug where player could fall through map on farmstead.
-Weapon glitch were gun would not shoot.
-Minor Bug fixes(Not important).
Local COOP will be coming soon!
Huge Update!

Keep - Keep is a new map based on a castle with great lighting but also keeping the performance great!
New Main menu much cleaner and easier to browse with level images to show you the layout of each map!
Beam Cross - Has been reworked to look much better and much more exciting to play!
New Furniture Pieces so look out for them!
Desolation Post - Has also been reworked so it is much more exciting to explore and escape.
New weapons added with different damage and fire rate.

- Fixed bug where after 20 waves enemy count did not increase
- Fixed bug with bullets missing close enemies (if you are very close it will still happen with long guns, but you should'nt be able to hit enemy behind the barrel anyway)
- Xinput Gamepad support (Shift+K when level starts)
- Crouch removed
- Long list of minor technical fixes
- Mesh, collider and material fixes

So one of our main goals was to add 4 player local CO-OP in a update in maybe a month or two but we have gotten feedback from people saying they would love for it to be added now!
What have we have done?
We listened to what you wanted and are now currently implementing it as fast as we can and we hope to have it in your hands very soon!
We have also fixed some annoying bugs that were reported which include.
Projectiles not hitting enemies if they are close.
Lighting Fixes.
Level & Collider Fixes.
What's New?
So desolation post will look quite a lot different if you have played it previously, but it is much better if you want a challenge.
A new level will be in the next update if it is finished this level is based outside rather than in a bunker!
Much better optimization for lower end computers.

Rise of Crustaceans Now Available!
Well great news everyone Rise of Crustaceans is now available to purchase for only $3.99! And the price will not be changing!!
We are happy that our game is finally on steam for the public to give us feedback and for them to enjoy playing!
I would love to hear if there could be anything that can be improved in our game or if there is a feature you like, there will be plenty more updates so we won't fail to impress you!
We also have new screenshots and a new gameplay video up on the store for you to check out so go ahead and do that.

We are so happy and excited to say that there is less than 4 days until Early access release for our game and with some of the feedback we have got from testers so far it has been all good.
But of course that's not all we want, we want bad feedback too tell us what is wrong and how we can improve because after all you are the player and we want to be able to impress you and make sure your having fun while playing our game!
What we have added since last update
Well i thought it's a bit stupid making players go back to the main menu to restart the level so i just added a restart button for a quick restart! (makes life easier).
Also some extra work done to make sure you get a smooth fps. Item spawner works properly now was having problems with items not spawning sometimes but it is now fixed and spawning works the same, only 2 spawners are active at a time out of 15 and once a item is picked up it respawns after 10 seconds on a different spawner!
You show them who's boss!!
Enemies work so much better now than they did before and the whole wave system has been revamped to make it much smoother and challenging for the player! How far can you get?
