Generals, you may have seen that we've been teasing a small collaboration with our friends at Tabletop Time, well...
We're pleased to announce that the final product is ready and you can check out the whole video below

Tabletop Time, famous for their miniatures, board game dioramas and roleplay content, helped us to recreate Arrakeen - the map available to play in the RISK x Dune: Part Two Map Pack - and they knocked it out of the park!
The team say;
"This may well be the most detailed and finessed build we've ever done! We really hope you like it, it was a huge undertaking and we're very proud! This video is a bit outside our usual these days, so if you know a board gamer who might be keen, share it around! Every bit helps! Thanks all!"
If you're anything like us and love seeing beautiful pieces of art, mixed with just outstanding engineering and how it all comes together, you will love this.

RISK - Community Bulletin #26
G’day Generals!
Like a boomerang, we’re back again with a new RISK Community Bulletin.
But first, a fun fact.
Did you know that the original game of RISK was invented in 1957 by Albert Lamorisse, a French filmmaker, and it became one of the most popular board games in history? Talk about a plot twist!
In today’s bulletin, we’re previewing Update v3.15, highlighting community moments and teasing a fun RISK collaboration.
Now let’s dive in!
It’s been a busy month here at SMG Studio while the team works on Updates v3.15 and v4.0.
Earlier this month we released a new RISK Roadmap discussing our plans from May to July 2024.
In May, Update v3.15 will be released, which includes the Viking Legends Map Pack.

Step into the realms of Norse mythology with these maps inspired by great Viking myths and legends.
The Viking Legends Map Pack will feature 4 brand new maps, with one map having over 70 territories! For updates on the new map pack, follow us on Facebook,Instagram, and join the RISK community Discord server.
Update v4.0 Another major milestone we’re excited to hit is the Alpha and Beta versions of update v4.0, which will be the highly anticipated Network Overhaul.
If you’ve been a RISK fan for a while, you’d know how important the Network Overhaul is. But for those who are newer to the game, RISK currently relies on a third party networking solution for multiplayer features which we are in the process of changing. As part of this change we are reworking the game’s entire multiplayer functionality to give us better overall stability, security and performance of all RISK multiplayer games.
This will also allow us to implement new ideas, such as Single Player Game Saves, playing games over extended periods of time and more!

It has been over a month since we launched the Risk x Dune: Part Two Map Pack with our friends at Legendary, and the control for Spice continues to rage on.
