Hey everyone!
Thanks to everyone who hopped onto Ritual Night on Day 1! We're excited to see new and returning players come and play some sessions throughout our first day

We've received a few posts on the bug board and we were hard at work addressing these issues for our hotfix v0.3.0.1.

Here's what we've fixed in v0.3.0.1
- [Critical] Fixes to voice chat not working in China/Asian regions, as well as random disconnects. Players should be able to hear each other smoothly!
- Cross regional rooms are now able to connect to each other, so feel free to join others from across the world!
- Equipping cosmetics issue in lobby
- NPC's now have various colors other than red.
- Various QOL changes

These changes are now LIVE! Make sure to update and check for the Version number: v0.3.0.1

Excited to have more lobbies pop up throughout the week, especially when we have our Play w/ the Devs sessions on our Discord! See you all at the Ritual!

Ritual Night is not just your typical hidden role / social deduction game, it has NO early player eliminations! We designed Ritual Night around the idea of maximizing chaos and keep every player in the game for as long as possible.

Why is Ritual Night not available in my country?
When we started this journey 3 years ago, Ritual Night was just a side project that we were doing in between university work and our part-time jobs. We needed funding to realize our vision, and we were lucky enough to receive such an opportunity. We successfully secured a deal with one of the publishers we spoke with, and their offer was too good to pass up. Although we can’t disclose the publisher’s name at this moment, we’ll update the Steam community once we launch on their platform. Thanks to this partnership, we’ve been able to work on Ritual Night full-time after graduation—a dream come true for us. However, as part of the agreement, Ritual Night will initially be available exclusively on our regional publisher’s platform in select countries within the LATAM and CIS regions.:

Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, and Uruguay.



We are fully aware that this can be disappointing for some of you and we would like to apologize to those people. Running a studio sometimes requires difficult choices. BUT do not worry! We made absolutely sure that crossplay is always available. You can always choose to play in any regions you want with other players regardless of which platform you get Ritual Night from! There will be no difference in gameplay content between the two platforms!

The main difference between Ritual Night on the two platforms is pricing:

On Steam:

  • Ritual Night starts at the base price of $4.99 USD.
  • Players who purchased Ritual Night on Steam will automatically unlock the current active premium battle pass.


On Regional Publisher’s Platform:

  • Ritual Night is free to play.
  • Players who download Ritual Night on Publisher’s Platform will not receive the premium battle pass by default. Instead, the battle pass can be purchased in-game for around $4.99 USD.


We appreciate your understanding and support! Ritual Night is our first-ever game. We have learned so much over these last few years and still have lots to learn. We are beyond excited that we've gotten this far and are nearing the completion of Ritual Night! We Are Part Of October's Next Fest + DEMO IS LIVE NOW!

Demo Details: you’ll get to experience a beginner variant of our map, "The Mansion". This eerie location will give you a taste of the chaotic gameplay as you uncover roles, sabotage, and deceive. However, this is just the beginning! Upon launch, we'll have two maps and 6 advanced variants of those maps.

We’re excited to announce that Ritual Night will be part of this October's Steam Next Fest! Our team has been hard at work for the past 4 years polishing the game to perfection, adding features, and ensuring it’s ready for you to experience firsthand.
