RIVE is now leaner and (slightly less) mean, thanks to you! We listened and tweaked a lot of things you were asking for. Here is the full update log:

ADD: More health is added each time you die at same checkpoint (max 10 points).
FIX: Checkpoint save delay now default 3 seconds (was 2 seconds) to combat unfair checkpoints.
FIX: Mission 11 pit of death incorrect checkpoint.
FIX: Mission 8 potential pit of death incorrect checkpoint.
FIX: Mission 5 sleeping whales fight missing checkpoint at very end of fight.
FIX: Mission 5 bathtub fight you could get stuck potentially. Not anymore.

ADD: Rank 1 in leaderboards now also displays total number of entries.
FIX: Borked leaderboards submission/fetch on Linux (and possibly Windows/Mac as well). (tnx [GOL] LiamD)
FIX: (Single Credit) When restarting campaign from ingame menu, while player is still alive, the progress wasn't properly reset. (tnx +/- Will)
FIX: Don't remove conversation when conversation is in paused state (e.g., in menu). (tnx +/- Will)
FIX: Potential crash bug in OSX HTTP layer.
GSYNC Warning! Use VSYNC!
Hi there,
We noticed that some people experience way too fast gameplay, which could explain the reports of extreme difficulty we’ve been hearing from a small amount of players.
If you have a videocard with GSYNC, please *don't* enable that for RIVE. At least not for now. Please use the good 'ol VSYNC (@ 60 FPS).
Even if your capture tools reports 60/61 FPS with GSYNC, this doesn't mean the game internally runs at the same speed. So don't trust that number. Simply switch to VSYNC and you should be fine!

RIVE to be final Two Tribes game
Hi all!
Two Tribes is retiring, RIVE will be our last game!
After more than 15 years of hard work and gallons of blood, sweat and tears, we have decided that RIVE will be Two Tribes’ final game. For this occasion we've created a brand new trailer, which you can see below. Feel free to share it with your readers, friends and family.
We're committed to making RIVE the best game we've ever made, and will support it as we've always supported our games, but we won't make a new one after that.

RIVE coming in 2016!
Continuing the fine Two Tribes tradition of failing to meet deadlines, RIVE is now slated for a 2016 release.
While we never communicated a firm release date, we did expect to launch RIVE during 2015. The reason why we’re moving it to 2016 is simple… we’re not done yet.
Since moving to a three man team early last year we had to rediscover how to handle things with less man-power. This means a lot of tasks have to be handled sequentially, instead of spread throughout the team. If we need a new trailer, the level designs stall for two weeks. If we decide to attend PAX or EGX with a booth, the entire project is paused for several weeks. It’s frustrating, especially since it means we can’t let you play the final game yet, but it’s our current reality and we are adamant to make RIVE the absolute best game we’ve ever created.
So what HAVE we been doing lately? Aside from launching a site for RIVE at rivethegame.com , we have been super busy with the game itself.

Who Loved Our PAX Demo? Everyone ;)
Hi! During last month's PAX East in Boston we got to present a playable RIVE demo that clearly showed our vision for the game.
