Roadclub: League Racing will go completely free march 21st
Hello racers!
As mentioned in previous posts Roadclub: League Racing will soon be completely free. And now we have a date: March 21st!
It's been great talking to everyone who found the game for the first time when we announced it would be free. A few of you asked for the final sale which is now over but you also put your money where your mouth is and bought almost as many copies in two weeks as people had bought in the entire 3 years since release! You also said many nice things about the game and about us, so thank you so much!
See you in a few days :)
Sincerely, Devs Benny and Ralf
Final highest-ever-90%-sale for the fans!
Hello racers!
As mentioned in the previous post Roadclub: League Racing will soon be completely free. But several players requested a final sale - so here it is! Our highest sale until now was 80% so we're maxing it out at 90% for about two weeks.
Thanks for all your support and kind words over the years. We're proud of our work and tried our best to make a fun game for players. One day we may come back stronger but for now we'll shut down the company and let everyone enjoy the game for free in a few weeks.
Sincerely, Devs Benny and Ralf
Roadclub: League Racing will be free and open source
Hello racers!
The game is no longer worth maintaining as a paid title but we still wish for as many players as possible to enjoy our work. So, we're hereby announcing that the game will converted to free within a couple of weeks, and even better - we're planning to make it open source later this year so we can give anyone the possibility to learn from our code and project in the future. We think we did some cool things with this game.
Hope this is good news for you all. If you recently paid for the game and wish to refund it you can do so if you haven't played for more than the steam refund rules. For anyone who keeps the game, thank you a lot for your support! And for everyone else who has played and enjoyed the game over the years - thank you!
We'll update here when the conversion is complete and when and where you can obtain the source and play around with it yourselves.
Have a good day everyone :)
Sincerely, Devs Benny and Ralf

It's been exactly 3 months since the game released already and we'll celebrate this with a huge update to the Track Editor and 30% OFF the game for a week so new people can join the fun (starting monday April 8th)!
We also had some fun and added birds to some tracks to liven them up a little. Hope you enjoy!
New and improved!
Completely redesigned Track editor UI, added dynamic checklist and contextual help and show keys more clearly in the UI to make it much easier to make tracks!
Added bird flocks for some less static tracks :)
Several optimizations to sprite rendering

RockPaperShotgun names Roadclub one of the "best new games too few people are playing"
We're very honored and proud to be recognized this way by a well-known games outlet like RPS. Check out the full article here: https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2019/01/28/unknown-pleasures-a-chinese-new-year/
New Update v1.46 "Particle Ops" live!
Hello racers!
The past 10 days since release we've neither been lazy nor rolled in cash, we have kept busy studying all content produced around the game to find things we can fix to improve the game.
New and improved!
Added "Unfair" difficulty where AI cars get increased grip and have no hampering logic applied at all compared to the player.
Rewrote cloud layer to be more optimized and produce more and smaller clouds.
Optimized particle effects. This should lighten cpu load a bit which seems to be the source of the most common performance issues.
Removed oil hidden oilslick on Treetop Raceway
Patched hole in the fence on Woodland Loop
Game now saves before a league race in case something happens to minimize progress loss
Minor UI polish

Hello everyone!
Not sure how the game works or plays? Wraith Skyline has made a fantastic series showing a playthrough of the career mode (every playthrough is unique with your own rivals though!) so you'll know just what to expect from the game, no filter or marketing.
Still I hope this sways you if your on the fence if you wanna buy the game or not! :)

Roadclub: League Racing is OUT NOW!

New update v1.45 "Day -1 Patch" live!
Hello!
A few streamers got their hands on the game a couple of days ahead of launch and this update addresses a few frame drops and fixes issues with weather, grip and UI.
See you tomorrow for the launch post!

Release date announced! Also v1.44 "D-4 Patch" live!
Hello racers!
This is it. This will be the launch version of Roadclub. I can't believe its finally time to exit early access and launch the game into the wild as a released title!
Roadclub will be launched January 8th 2019 - exactly 2 years since the early access launch. We thought it would be a fitting date :)
There's tons more we would have liked to do but we think 2 years in early access is more than enough. Doing everything we wanted for this game would've easily taken 10+ years. And due to recent confusion I'd like to be very clear that we haven't made any promises at all for future updates, this might be it but we'd like to do a couple more community requested things and a couple of our own ideas if time and energy allows. We're both out of holidays and will be going back to our regular jobs next week so time will again be extremely limited.
The price has also been updated to our launch price of $9.99 or your region equivalent.
As this is our equivalent of a Day 1 patch there won't be much new but we managed to polish a bit more and fix some important issues and add some new mist FX when racing on wet tarmac. Full release notes below:
New and improved!
Added mist behind cars on rainy days
Minor UI polish
Minor optimization
Fixed
Fixed final boss song not playing instead of a random track
Fixed issues switching between autozoom and fixed camera in a few instances
Fixed so cars can be upgraded to level 10 in career
Fixed an issue with Max Damage achievement
Fixed an issue with long-term backups of profiles
