Robin Hood: Sherwood Defenders is our way of bringing you a different experience with our hooded hero! In the game, you defend the homes of Robin's most faithful allies from the incoming armies of the Sheriff, wave after wave of them! Build up walls, towers, resource production buildings, hire soldiers, and finally leap into the fray with Robin himself!
👉 Please remember that Robin Hood: Sherwood Defenders is not a DLC of Sherwood Builders. It's a standalone game that you can enjoy without having to follow from our previous game's story.
Meet Eddie Wiser, the unlikely hero of our new project's story. Though he may not seem like it, Eddie's been handy with the hammer and wrench ever since he was just a wee troublemaker.
Always tinkering with one machine or another and with an equal penchant for running into trouble with the law, he eventually grew up to be a sly entrepreneur. And his brilliant scheme of the day is to run a laundromat as a front for a whimsical forgery workshop hidden away in its back!
What led him to such a wild enterprise? Well, it'll be your job as the player to find out as you help Eddie run his daily activities:
Serving the laundromat's customers
Repairing machines
Decorating your venue
Ordering supplies
Placing all the different items and managing space
Handling laundromat finances
Assembling various counterfeiting machines in the back
Selling the different fakes to your friendly neighborhood fence
Accepting special counterfeiting jobs
Dealing with the local mob and authorities
Taking care of an infuriating grandmother

This time around we're offering an entirely different experience with our hooded hero. Robin Hood: Sherwood Defenders is a game inspired by our first title, but the rules change ever so slightly.
💀 As befits evil, the wicked Sheriff of Nottingham never sleeps and this time he seeks to tighten his grip on the surrounding lands by forcefully securing some of its most precious locations from Robin's most trusted allies. The legendary archer will have none of that! As Sheriff forces march on his friends' homes, Robin takes it upon himself to organize a defensive effort and fend them off for good!
🏰 In Robin Hood: Sherwood Defenders, you take charge in tower-defense gameplay – construct walls, gates, and towers to slow down your foes, production buildings to sustain more structures and their upgrades with an income of resources, and finally hire soldiers to have someone at your side when the clash begins.
🛡️ And you'll need someone at your side indeed! Time is short and when the enemy wave comes, there's nothing else for Robin to do but jump right into the thick of it and give the Sheriff cronies what for himself with his sword and arrows! Score points for your performance in battle, for which you'll unlock new defenses in future fights.

A number of camps around Sherwood have grown sick of rats chewing on their pitch barrels, leaving the precious resource within to be wasted. So now you'll find them suspended above where the pesky rodents can't get to them quite as easily. While to most this is a measure taken to prevent volatile goods from being damaged by pests, to the skilled outlaw it's an opportunity to wreak havoc with a flammable substance. After all, no one's skilled enough to cut something down from a rope with an arrow... Aren't they...?
🏆 Achievement Adjustments. Based on your feedback we are pleased to announce a major change to “The Pro” Award. The Grand Archery Tournament minigame has been made simpler to complete changes.

A brand new location is discovered deep within the wilderness surrounding Nottingham. A place of blood sports, where the stakes go really high, whether we're talking coin or lives... Welcome to the Blood Cairn Arena!
Fighting Pit
Gamblers travel here from far and wide, fighters of questionable character draw their weapons on its well-trodden ground, spectators cheer loudly, demanding their share of excitement. That's what the Blood Cairn Arena is all about. And now Robin can also join the fray in customizeable team fights, during which he either supports his fighters in the melee or from the parapet above, barraging the opponents with arrows and triggering traps. It's a fight to the death for the ultimate prize!
A Familiar Face
But what is the ultimate prize of Blood Cairn? Well, it's not just a high winning bet ever since the arena announced its Grand Tournament. It has drawn a bigger crowd than ever, coming after a phenomenal bounty of gold. And who does Robin encounter among this crowd? None other than his distant relative, self-proclaimed rival, and master swordsman – Will Scarlet (Don't call him 'Scarlock').
