  • Main Menu and UI movement with multiple connected controllers on game launch fixed.
  • Implement functionality that should hopefully work with other controllers and unknown controllers

Build 0.4.3 – New AI and Character selection



We made a second version of the character selection screen. We hope to receive feedback on this much simpler system. Bots are now more merciful and do not use aim-bots ːsteamhappyː

Build 0.4.2 – UI and effects improvements

In this build we improved character and gun particle visibility that players could see more clearly where they spawn and where everyone is moving.
There is lots of improvements to player UI, effects and character balancing which you can read more about from patch notes.

The players can also choose how many lives the players have per round, as well as how many rounds to play. If you select more than one round, you will instantly move to another round/map after the previous round/map has finished.

Character:

  • Added white half circle to indicate dash cooldown
  • Thicker half circle to indicate health
  • Spawn lightning effect is improved
  • New death animation
  • Characters have shields which indicate that others cannot kill another player, shield is refreshed when player spawn


UI and effects:

  • Added regeneration effect to waiting lobby shields
  • Now there is conveyor belt to waiting lobby
  • Improved gun particle effects
  • Removed lighting settings from options menu
  • Added back button and map icons to waiting lobby menu

Build 0.4.1 - Interactible objects & traps, new style on Nyley, Spawn and Dash improvements



Version 0.4.1

Added a second variation of the Nyley map with more interactive mechanics. Nyley Style 1 is the one previously released, with added explosive barrels to the corners. Nyley Style 2 has more area to walk around in, and interactive buttons that will shoot out grenades to a target locations, have a camper? Press a button.

Also added more interactivity to other maps. 3x3-Lava map has flying rocks that will damage players if you get too close. With this in mind we want to add more fun activities, interactions and chaos to each map.

New Spawning effect is also added in! Allowing us to now add more visual and fun player spawning to future maps!



Patch notes



  • New variation of Nyley (Nyley Style 2) with a slight change in level design and interactive button mechanics that will fire grenades.
  • 3x3-Lava now fires Boulders to most rooms.
  • Caution: May Explode*
  • New Dash sound
  • Dash made more viable, can use more often, but doesn't go as far.
  • New Spawn Effect! Making it more clear where you are spawning.
  • Applies a force to a player to force the player to move to the "Ready Zone"

Build 0.4.0 – New map and effect upgrades



This time we have made a hole new level Nyley with interactive mechanics, made the gameplay more cohesive and fixed a lot of bugs.

  • New level Nyley with a new style and interactive mechanics
  • Post Processing improvements to 3x3 - lava level, now yellow player is easier to see on the platform
  • Added new dash effect for the characters
  • When you dash character doesn't get stuck to the walls so easily

  • On keyboard you despawn the character with 'space' button
  • Spawning screen now shows despawning information too

There’s one week left before RoboVirus price will rise to 3,99$ (price will vary depending on country), so if you or your friend hasn’t downloaded the game yet now is the time to do so.

Game price will increase based on the new features implemented to the game and we’ll inform you week before game price increase, the final price for the finished game is yet to be concluded.

Early Access


This early access is for players who want to take a part in the development. Our team will make drastic updates at this alpha phase based on the feedback and suggestions from the players.

Patch notes RoboVirus build 0.3.8 – Character lobby and Options

We heard that the game is a bit too heavy for some computers so we added an options menu. Now you can change your graphics, game and sound settings. Hope you like them. We optimized graphics and made new character spawn lobby, which now includes level and AI selector.

  • Characters move 15% and dash is 50% faster, turning rate is quicker

Patch notes for RoboVirus build 0.3.6b

We streamlined the game starting progress. Now you can have 1-4 players and the rest of the slots will be filled with bots automatically!

  • Rockets now have a better and bigger visual effects and they have homing capabilities!
  • Plasma gun visuals are enhanced
  • Camera shake added on player death

  • Rockets now work properly in the waiting lobby and have more reliable damage dealing mechanism

  • Camera shake can be turned off
  • Resolution, quality and other settings are to be implemented soonish

We heard that you want someone to play with, so we made AI they’re hardcore shooters with godly aim, but they are still a bit dump and we’re going to improve them with time. Most of our work with this update went making bots work from scratch but our graphical team made some improvements too.
