Single Player Playtest Open Now

Greeting, Rock Hoppers!

We're pleased to announce that our first public alpha test is now live. This is a single-player build with two prefabricated worlds to choose from. You'll be able to experience all of the in-game content we have so far without limitations for the duration of the test. You can also experiment with our in-game editor, although we've disabled the ability to create new worlds for this test.

This playtest will run from now until Friday, September 2nd

What to Expect

Although Rock Hoppers is coming along nicely, it's not complete yet. Most of the gameplay features are in place and working, but we still have a lot of content to add and we're using placeholder or temporary assets in some places. There is also still a lot of optimization to be done, so performance may be iffy.

All that said, we feel like we have a decent early game experience here, and we hope this playtest will offer you quite a few hours of entertainment.

Feedback

For this test, we are looking for your gameplay feedback. Please use the feedback link in the main menu (the 'forms' icon) to submit a gameplay report after you've played the game. Your feedback will help us understand how players experience Rock Hoppers and will let us identify areas that still need improvement.

We also invite you to join us on discord, where you can leave bug reports, ask for or discuss features, or just hang out with our community.
