Rock of Ages Update Released (v1.11)
Updates to Rock of Ages have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The major changes include:

-Fixed game invites.
-Fixed issue causing video settings to reset with future updates (this is the last time settings will reset).
-Player 1 settings now apply to Player 2 in split screen.
-Fixed double cursor on score screens.

-And Christmas theme is active!!!

Rock of Ages Free Multiplayer Weekend + Halloween Content!
Rock of Ages' multiplayer mode is now free to play until Sunday at 1PM Pacific time! Our recent improvements to the matchmaking system should allow players to join each other much more easily, so if you have friends that haven't given Rock of Ages a go, this is your chance to show them why this game is so fun to play in multiplayer.

In addition to this awesome promotion and in the spirit of the upcoming Halloween Holiday we've released a cool new Ghost Boulder avatar! Check it out! The cloth physics look great on the spinning rock.

And finally; don't forget that as long as this promotion is running the game is 75% off!

Rock of Ages Update Released (v1.10)
Updates to Rock of Ages have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The major changes include:

-Removed ‘found games’ window. Custom match now creates a lobby if no games are found.
-Identified and fixed some connection errors.
-Improved invites and internal matchmaking flow.

Rock of Ages Matchmaking updated
In the anticipation of cool upcoming promotions & new content on Steam we've redesigned and improved the matchmaking of Rock of Ages so it is much more effective and friendly. The new interface allows players to practice against an AI while waiting for the system to pair you with a new opponent and it also features several other improvements that should make the online experience much more enjoyable.

We expect an important rise of online play in the upcoming days, so we'd love to hear the feedback of early adopters now that the system is just being released. Let us know what you think of the new changes so we can continue making Rock of Ages an even more awesome game!

Rock of Ages 1.09 Update Released
- New game mode: Obstacle Course. Race an opponent to the finish line avoiding enemy units while searching for powerups. Both players compete on the same course and the first to earn two points wins the match! Game mode is available for online play, split-screen versus and also against an AI opponent.
- Tweaked player respawn so it's harder to use as an exploit.
- Invites window menu is displaying properly.
- Fixed flyer bug that was causing some units to not fire when they should.

Block of Ages Released!
We hope everyone enjoyed yesterday’s April Fools prank. If you caught the ‘Block of Ages’ news elsewhere and you thought we were only teasing you, check again! The cubic rock is real and is here to stay! So go take the new rock for a spin, er… flip, and see if you can get that Block of Ages achievement!

Rock of Ages 1.07 Update Released
The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The major changes include:

- New snowball boulder player.
- All Army Leader avatars have Christmas themed costumes (viewable in the character selection screen and versus screens).
- Game menus updated with Christmas themed art: Animated snow that drops over the screen, snowy covered background and big snowball character instead of regular boulder.
- New achievement: Win a match with the snowball boulder to unlock it.
- New multiplayer option: Players can now select between two unit setups when creating an online match:
1) All units are available (this way you can play with all the units, even in the early levels).
2) Only campaign units are available (as it was before).

Rock of Ages wins 'Most Original Game of 2011' (Inside Gaming Awards)
ACE Team's crazy boulder game has just won the award for the 'Most Original Game of 2011' of the 'Inside Gaming Awards' of Machinima.com!

A big congratulation to the other nominees (Catherine, From Dust, L.A. Noire, Bastion).

Rock of Ages 1.05 Update Released
The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The major changes include:

- Added new Jack-o’-Lantern Boulder to character selection list.
- Updated main menu with Halloween theme.
- Fixed crash that was occurring through Custom Matches.
- Fixed version mismatch issue that was leading to online connectivity problems.
- Game menus can now be navigated with a controller.
- Updated ‘Breaker’, ‘Smasher’ & ‘Obliterator’ achievements so they can also be obtained against an AI opponent.
- Player is no longer forced to use the ‘Sisyphus Buddy’ boulder for the single-player campaign. Now the campaign can be played with any Boulder design.
