Hello Runners!!
To make sure everyone is having fun and new features do not break anything we are using the Beta branch for the latest updates. When properly tested (usually less than a week) these changes are commited to the main public branch. Anyone is most welcome to participate in Beta testing
How to enable Beta
<*>Go to your Library
<*>Right Click "Ricky Runner" and select "Properties"
<*>Go to Betas tab
<*>Select the Public Beta
<*>type "RocketBootMania" into the code section and hit "Check Code"
<*>If everything went well, you should be on BETA branch
What is new on Beta branch
new more secure and robust dll
camera changed to center Ricky in the screen
new section "Dev Area" - an incubator for new arenas and other content, instead of adding the arenas directly to map, they can first be seen and tested here, there is no difference in functionality and your progress will not be affected when moving these to map
Zero To Hero arena added to Dev Area
Whale arena added to Dev Area
BayWatch arena added to Dev Area
GetWet arena added to Dev Area
You get small amount of boost just by running for certain period of time
Wallrun tutorial re-done to have pressure plates instead of levers
Holodisplays are shown by default so people actually notice / read them (the pop ups in startpoints)
